  1. Excellent, l'm not on Facebook but thanks for including the video on here. Gives my son something to watch whilst school is off, he must've watched 2018s compilation 30 times!
  2. Duckworth/Lewis method. Money saving expert, Martin Lewis & Coronation Street's Vera Duckworth sit down with the remaining fixtures and predict the results.
  3. Eftv has a compilation of 2018's goals. Are there any plans to do this for 2019's goals? I know there's a bit of work/editing involved & there's other priorities just now, but just asking. Keep up the good work all.
  4. Why would one of our fans want to play for Stenhousemuir?
  5. If it's null & void why would you expect a compensation package? You don't like this because it's financially crippling to your club? No one knows when this will end, preferred option is to play out season with players registrations extended until fixtures completed. If this goes on past September this is unlikely though. It's not going to be up to you, me or the sfa/spfl. uefa will tell us, probably with what suits la liga, bundesligsa, Premier league the best.
  6. I dont know the best way forward, initally I though end it now Celtic, Utd, Raith, Cove champions. Realistically, too many minefields etc. The best way of course is to find a way to complete the fixtures somehow. Do away with league & challenge cups for a season, some clubs could use meaningless matches as pre season, that'd free up 8 or 9 slots? If a horse race or marathon isn't completed for whatever reason, we don't say give 1st place to who was in front at the time. Null and void could be the only option in the end. Will it be our own blazers who will decide, or will uefa or fifa make that decision?
  7. Can't see that happening, she must be about 20 & was only named as shareholder, as Neil Rankine, was also involved with Livvy & another ( Dumbarton?) Early, early bird season tickets is a great idea though, you couldn't include the 4 outstanding from this season though. Don't know if they could be sold in a package of some sort?
  8. Just out of interest, do you follow or watch a U.S. team?
  9. 1. 30 of the current grounds (also been to Meadowbank, Douglas park, Love St, Brockville, Boghead, Firs park, Sheilfield, Raydale park, Spartans watching the Fife & old Bayview). 2. 28, watching East Fife, Celtic park was for a Scotland game, Mcdiarmid once for my old school playing in the Scottish cup semi there and once for Dunfermilne v Hafnafjordor held there. 3. Old Bayview v Celtic, 1984. 1st other ground would be Tannadice, or Dens. 4. Tynecastle, when we played there in the league cup 3 seasons ago. 5. Each ground has its own unique character, they are all an adventure of sorts, whether its to pastures new, or just memories of old trips there. Always hope we draw Hibs away, as Easter Road's the biggest one I've not been to though. 6. City Park Edinburgh. Spartan's old ground. Played there in the cup during Steve Archibald's reign, It was a dump, muddy banking to stand on, a condemned stand, got lost trying to find it & we drew!
  10. As I said at the weekend, if season is to run on & be completed in September, move the transfer window until 2019/2020 is completed, that way no one could move between teams before then, similar to the gentlemen agreement idea. Longer this runs on, the closer to the liklihood of it being voided though. Euro 2020, is now postponed until next year, so let's hope we can get back playing around July. Fairest on everyone.
  11. Guess I like the anomalies in Scottish football, the fact Berwick are based in England, but played in Scotland, Queens Park being amateur & playing at Hampden & Brechin with thier hedge. These things give the game character & a romanticism. I'm not sure cold, soulless mechano stadia & new clubs, at our level is necessarily progress. Yes the landscape has changed, ICT & Ross Co have done exceptionally, previously big clubs like Clyde & Airdrie have went the opposite way. How long before a Pie & Bovril is replaced by a Hamburger & a Cappuccino for £10. Progress?
  12. Rumours of Annan being in serious financial trouble just shows the problem with all these new clubs coming in via the pyramid system (I know they were elected). Clubs like 'Shire, Berwick & possibly Brechin drop into oblivion with Cowden & Montrose surviving via a play off. Teams with a history & a connection with their community, have suffered through a few bad seasons, a fate that could befall any part-time club. Meadowbank had to move because they compete with Hearts/Hibs fan base, I can't see why Edin City will be different, Gretna was boom and bust, I can't see where Kelty or EK, or others will be any different. These clubs spend big to get in, but is the rewards on offer really worth it? If so why aren't East Fife, Forfar & Dumbarton etc throwing cash about? Do we do due diligence on these clubs? Seem to remember Brora not being 100% committed to promotion despite winning the Highland league, have Elgin really gained in 20years in the bottom tier? Maybe others see it a natural selection, a replacing of dead wood, Ann Budgerigar would have us all out anyway, even although the part time teams tend to live within thier means.
  13. That's right, remember it's the company running it that dies, not the club itself.
  14. Yeah, might have more chance of luring him back one day from there though.
  15. A lot of clubs wondering how they'll get by with no gate money until the picture becomes clearer. Not sure how we fare in this, but if its going to be a bit longer than 4-6 weeks, should we maybe start offering next 2020/21 Season tickets early?
  16. Lets just hope this thing all blows over & we can get back to playing the remaining fixtures in a reasonable timescale. Shelve the Scottish cup semis until the Autumn. Do away with the league cup for a year (or revert it back to a knock out for 1 season only). Can't the transfer window be altered, so a player cant play elsewhere before the season 2019/20 fixtures are completed? As for Celtic's 9 in a row quest, if this season is void, surely next season would be the 9th etc No option would suit every party, lets just hope things aren't as bad as first feared.
  17. Don't know what the fairest solution is. Fully expect on Monday, all football to be suspended, hopefully with Euro 2020, moved to summer of 2021. Lets just hope in 6 weeks or so, things haven't been as bad as expected. I've also, always felt we have an older support than a lot of other clubs, people's lives are at stake and that must come first. Time for squabbling over the remaining fixtures once his has all blown over. Sorry for the doom & gloom, but this is serious.
  18. Uefa should postpone Euro 2020 until next summer. Leaving time over this summer to play out the remainder of this domestic season. If this season can't be fulfilled, make every game from when the competition is suspended a 0-0 draw, scrap the play offs & just have top team promoted, bottom team relegated? Don't declare it nul and void!
  19. My 1st choice was the one with the 2 horizontal stripes across the chest, not one other person has agreed with this. I hereby announce I am refraining from giving out fashion advice from now on!
  20. Problem with teams that wear either stripes, or hoops is that you are limited on what ways you can alter the design, so you have to go for something radical from time to time. Wasn't my choice, but I'll give it a chance, after all it's what's inside the shirt that matters!
  21. Wasn't at the game, but fair to say most airdrie fans feel what I have in a while, a lot of the ball, but no one, for whatever reason wanting to have a shot. We always seem to make 1pass too many & the chance is lost. Presumably Davidson will miss the next match. Might not be a bad thing, he's not looked himself the last couple of weeks, a rest might do him some good. Gives us the chance to alter what's been an unfunctional midfield of late. Another 6 pointer next week & we're still in a great position.
  22. This had bothered me all morning. Woke from a drunken stupor, to see a vision of the bbc sport website saying airdrie 2-2 east fife. We had raced into a 2 goal lead scoring in the 8th and 13th minutes. We had Long sent off, conceding the resulting penalty in 33. Before airdrie equalised in 45+3. Don't know if that was only half time, or the final result. You heard it here first!
