  1. Pretty sure there was an ad there last week that disappeared when the game begun.
  2. Aye, on the one hand I’m looking quite forward to digging up old photos of my mates doing the ‘10’ hand gesture but on the other if rangers manage to screw this up the scenes from their fans will be incredible. Either way we’ve got a meltdown to look forward to! I’d rather chose option 3 and have an Aberdeen or Hibs come from absolute nowhere and take the league.
  3. Still get nightmares of Hartley’s defending that night, thought Saints were going to score every time they came forward. To think there are folk in our support that wanted to keep him [emoji85]
  4. If it’s his main source of income then it is essential travel. What you’ll find is he’s sometimes even invited by these clubs despite the times we’re living in. Maybe not at QOS or Annan but he was for East Fife and (I think) Stranraer in recent weeks.
  5. £12 if I remember correctly. Been a few problems with it this season but the match against Hibs was certainly the best it had worked yet (unfortunately).
  6. I can’t get behind someone playing for Celtic or Rangers. No hard feelings to the lad, he did what was right for his career and secured the club a good fee, certainly more respect for him than that snake Hastie but still can’t support him while he’s playing for them. Now when he’s at Barcelona in 2 years then I’ll happily get behind him [emoji6] FTOF!

Went against my usual game of either Motherwell or Morton and decided to play as Dumbarton instead. Just finished my first season. Won the league on the final day of the season with a 2-0 home victory over Clyde, 3pts ahead of Falkirk who I beat 1-0 at home in the 3rd last game of the season. A big result considering I had failed to lay a glove on them in the 2 previous meetings (including a home defeat when they only had 10 men). Performed poorly in the cups. Finishing 4th in my Betfred cup group, losing against Livingston (2-0), Clyde (penalties) and Annan (penalties). I did however manage to beat Ayr (2-0) in the final game which knocked them out of the competition. In the Scottish cup I narrowly beat East Stirlingshire away in the first round (2-1) before losing out to Peterhead away from home 1-0 to a penalty in extra time. I couldn’t really sign anyone due to the clubs finances so I relied on free transfers and loans. Bringing in Josh Kerr from Airdrie on a season long loan was probably my best bit of business, he went on to win the clubs young player of the year award and I have extended the loan into next season.
  8. Ragdolled the Hamilton defence, scoring two goals. Other than that all I can remember of him was winding up the Dundee fans when we played them at dens park.
  9. No matter who we go with they’re going to show the majority of Rangers and Celtic’s away games unfortunately but I think BT Sport at least tried to throw in a non old firm game every now and then. You could say the same about Sky Sports at the start of the season but that was only because the English leagues hadn’t started yet, since they have I wonder how many non old firm ties have been shown. I remember in the second half of the 14/15 season BT Sport had put on: Motherwell vs Hamilton (4-0) Motherwell vs St Mirren (5-0) Motherwell vs Kilmarnock (3-1) They put on others as well but I can’t remember the ones not involving Motherwell off the top of my head. My point is, would Sky Sports put any of these games on if they were being played this weekend? Of course not.
  10. Aye I’m the same, don’t like to watch a rangers/Celtic training exercise. I enjoy BBC Scotland’s coverage of championship football more than Sky Sports premiership coverage. If only BT Sport could’ve stumped up the money...
  11. I want them to release a Christmas edition of this which is just an hour long video of Ricki Lamie explaining all his errors to Maurice Ross.
  12. Do we not have a squad of like 28? Alan Burrows has already said that there are multiple players who the club are looking to seal new deals with. Campbell and Gallagher being two I’m sure but it would be highly unlikely we’d keep both. More than likely that both will be away in the summer, whether or not they go for nothing is the worry. Expect the young boys will sign new deals but it looks like a big rebuild job for Robinson in the summer.
  13. Won the majority of their games but not trophies. I think however that everyone recognised Rangers were going to be back. I can’t think of one person who during the season in League 2 said that they thought rangers would stay down. They were expected to return and were thus expected to win trophies. Any rangers fan that tries to use their seasons in the lower leagues as an example of not being glory hunters is having a laugh.
  14. Denmark - draw (H) defeat (A) Austria - win (H) draw (A) Israel - win (H) draw (A) Faroe Islands - win (H) win (A) Moldova - win (H) win (A) There’s yer results already [emoji41]
  15. I think talking to a hearts fan will quickly clear up any doubts on whether Frear was good enough at this level. Our club is crying out for a player who can take the ball down the line and actually put a half decent cross in every now and then but from my memory, I don’t remember Frear doing that a lot. Usually just stood and watched the game. You’d think Hastie and Seedorf would fit into that role but unfortunately not, playing Long on the wing doesn’t seem very effective either.
  16. I think it’s clear the majority of our signings this season haven’t lived up to what’s expected of them, backup or not. Hastie - From all the mates I talked to about it at the time, not one wanted Hastie back at the club. Having said that, there were a few of us (myself included) who grudgingly admitted he’d probably do a job for us but clearly that’s not been the case so the sooner he’s sent back to Glasgow the better. White - A Championship striker who is yet to prove himself in the Premiership, was unlucky with a few disallowed goals in the first couple of games but since then he’s been sitting on the bench and at no point do I feel he will make a huge impact coming on. Long - seemed a decent signing at the time but looks more interested in selling PS5s on Instagram than playing for us on a Saturday. Lang - Not done anything spectacular but wouldn’t say he’s been terrible either. Played well a few times. O’Donnell - Decent signing, especially since Accies were keeping him fit for us, just going to be another position we need to fill once he’s gone in January. Crawford - Couldn’t get into Livi’s first team so wasn’t sure why we brought him in, even as a backup. Had a few average games in recent weeks for us, not terrible but weird signing. Lamie - Don’t get me started. Chapman - Thrown in at the deep end, not looked very convincing. Archer - Made an excellent save but also conceded 3. Will need to see more of him. McGinley - Been our with injury for a bit so can’t really say but looks more comfortable than Lamie in our defence. Cole - I really started to like him near to the end of his previous loan spell, too early to call for me, hopefully he can turn decent in the coming weeks. Watt - Happy with Watt getting a new deal, don’t think he’s established himself enough to be our sole striker but gives us an option up top nonetheless. Think that’s it. We’re not great but we’re also not as bad as some of the mobs at the bottom. Need to get into a decent run of form though just to put a bit of distance between us and them. Our upcoming fixtures (looking past St Mirren at home) aren’t exactly a pleasant view. Rangers (A), Aberdeen (H), Dundee United (A) and Kilmarnock (H) to see out 2020.
  17. Aye the years of wee guys making ‘10’ hand gestures to the sky cameras every week seem ages ago now [emoji23]
  18. Is Tommy Sheridan back to supporting the well yet??? [emoji16]
