At least start the discussion. What's your favourite? C, D, DD etc? -
My father once bought by mum a lovely glasses case. She does not wear glasses.

Things you want to share with P&B
Beans on Toast replied to Ad Lib's topic in The General Nonsense Forum
Unsure if I should share this here, especially as I'm not sure how to use the spoiler function, so if you're easily upset skip the rest of this. Last night I had such a horrific and confusing dream. Its afternoon now and I'm still not over it. I barely ever remember my dreams as well, so God knows why this one has stayed with me. I'm my dream I was the owner of Falkirk Football Club. I am not a Falkirk fan nor do I live in or near Falkrik. As you can imagine I am still slightly shaken by it. What does it mean? Why would my brain do this to me? -
The James McClean Sponsored Poppy Thread
Beans on Toast replied to thisGRAEME's topic in The General Nonsense Forum
It's not fictional. I can exclusively reveal it was me wot did it. Noted Hibs hard man beans on toast. I saw that old c**t standing there raising money for a charity and as the most ridiculous Mr Griffin (step aside Peter) correctly noted, us far-left liberals absolutely hate the idea of charity. He's lucky I only managed one punch before the crowd carried me away on their shoulders. -
Each to their own, but, for me, I'm aroused.

Some may accuse me of being overly negative given our recent results in competitive games and how much better we are than the opposition, who have far less points than us, but I'd take a draw tonight.

Scotland v England 150th year anniversary match

We cheer? -
Being realistic, it's crazy to think in 5 years we will have matched the achievements of France and Spain and be World and European champions.

That sums it up perfectly for me. I thought we'd win but this is unreal.

For me Clive, it's because Martindale has shown remorse and tried to better himself. People, not everyone, generally deserve a second chance and he seems to have gone about things the right way since he commit said crimes. Mackay, and I may well have missed this so happy to be proven wrong here, seems to have shown no remorse for being a racist p***k. To me that's the difference. Having said that, I'd still not be overly happy with Martindale as manager.

Glad you're still going with this. I've enjoyed reading along for literally years. It'll be some moment when you finally do it, good luck.

Thank you, lovely to hear. As I am an exuberant gentleman I do butter the toast before adding beans.

A fair point. I'm not sure if it is a conference or just a statement. Still, would you bet on her reading a statement out correctly? Whatever form it takes will be enjoyable viewing. I look forward to hearing about her plan to get this country back on track after she and her government has taken it off the tracks and set fire to it.

I cannot wait to hear her excuses for firing Kwasi and continuing as PM. "He did exactly as I asked him to, but it caused absolute mayhem the likes of which this country had never seen, so I'll find someone else to... do the opposite of what I ask? To do as I ask and then fire them next month..." The mental gymnastics from noted public speaker Lizz Truss will be a joy to watch.

Ah I see, I did not focus on that part of the sentence, but you are correct then. I humbly offer my apologies. -

Well I'm glad some idiot didn't spent 10mins with calculator, an abacus and a notebook trying to suggest otherwise. -

I may be outting myself as an idiot here but... is it? If you have 4 people paying £500, £6,000, £6,500, and £7,000 a year (obviously extreme examples) the average is £5,000. However more than half of these 4 people will be paying more than the average. Is that not what this sentence means? I'm not commenting on whether it's accurate, just that it seems possible.
