  1. I’ll raise you New Orleans 1999. Period. And it got stranger from there.
  2. Yea, but inspections stop here next year, so we’ll match you quickly.
  3. Nah, total immunity is off the table ruling wise, only Alito seems partial to even entertaining it. Partial immunity with regards to Official Acts is the betting leader, and the next delay will come from the Court remanding the determination of Official Acts versus Personal Acts to a lower Court level…which will then be appealed, however that appeal would NOT pause the schedule, unlike this one. Still a possibility of a trial resolution before November…but it’s gonna depend on if the SCOTUS rules within a month and a half or so.
  4. “Jack on, Jack off” social media strategy? The example, and the math, argues for a repetitive print…you could be several fun places. One hopes the final design will rotate the positioning off the initial indexed position, so on the first print you might be front and next one down you’re on the side or back.
  5. Aye, stand 1” from a pool of burning petrol and let me know how you do.
  6. Glad to hear progress...check the NSFW forum to raise the BP a bit? Get well!
  7. Rough list from Transfermarkt for top three levels...your mileage may vary, ordered by "value" for the top two levels: Premiership "RB's" out of contract: Ryan Strain/St. Mirran/27/36% starting, but almost all RM, and disappeared after Guy Faulks. Conner Randell/Ross Co/28/64% starting, but missed a lot by managers choice at the back end of the season. Stephen O'Donnell/Motherwell/31/85% starting, but plays more RM. Callan Elliot/Motherwell/24/0%, but only showed up the last couple of months from New Zealand. James Bolton/St. Mirran/29/30% starting, but much more toward seasons end. Paul McGinn/Motherwell/33/73% starting, but all at CB this season. Michee Efete/Ross Co/27/83% starting in last three months, intermittent in English League 2...can play across the back. Championship "RB's" out of contract: Jack McMillan/Partick/26/74% starting. Wallace Duffy/ICT/25/44% starting, played a little CB too and was more active later in season. Ross Millen, nope. Aaron Muirhead/Partick/33/97% starting at CB, is four years away from any real RB time. Cammy Ballantyne/Airdrie/27/56% starting, but a bit more early than late. Not there while IM was there, was at Montrose. League One "RB's" out of contract: Jordan Houston/QoS/24/24% starting, played sparingly in first half only. Jason Thomson/Kelty/36/74% starting, but only played CB this year and disappeared late. Paul McLean/Stirling Albion/34/91% starting, 5 years and an Achilles repair removed from playing RB, but a Captain. Mikey Hewitt/Accies/23/12% starting, but no RB since last year, being moved to LM, CM and LW. Reghan Tumily/Accies/27/94% starting, solid starter all year. Scott Taggart/Alloa/32/94% starting, played across the back, Captain and played almost every game. Cammy Logan/QoS/22/88% starting, played almost every game and has some versatility. Calum Pitt/Edinburgh City/20/11% starting, played very sparingly with small minutes, LB/CM/RB. Paul McLean/Alloa/20/barely played, coming up from U-20 team. Jay Burns/QoS/18/almost no play, was at Gretna half the season. For RB, IMO, Efete is interesting, as is McMillian and perhaps Bolton. Ballantyne perhaps...Tumilty is known quantity...not sure Taggart or Logan can stop up.
  8. Hummmmm…”Dickless in Kirkcaldy”, “Long Dick Gone”, “Dick Chopped”, “Without a Dick, Rovers have lost their Wang”… The Social Media writes itself…but to get back to business: -Dick has been our most played defender -This defence has allowed joint third fewest goals in the Championship. - Dick has played LB in over 90% of our matches. -This offence has scored third most goals in the Championship. All of you who slate Dick and demand we let him go are, in my opinion, fools. He is a perfect team player going forward, and with Hannah hopefully ready to start getting some time next season, would be absolutely critical to our success. The addition of a player like Stevenson could perhaps make Dick slightly expendable, but as a trusted member of IM’s defence, with the ability to play LB, CB and even RB, I’d still argue it would be important to keep him. For instance, if we entered next year in the Championship with Corr*, Murray and Hanlon* signed at CB, Stevenson* as CB/LB and Hannah at LB, we would certainly still want our Dick* as another LB/CB/emergency RB player. With that group, I’d say a strong starting RB and another developmental CB/RB player and we’d be in pretty deep clover. *Speculative signings in this context.
  9. Missing Arnott and Masson, otherwise matches what I show.
  10. But he was in last years top 15, so thoughts and prayers...points please. Fool, whatever strategy we pursue the Gods will laugh at us!
  11. So, a nearby High School (last 4 years) is now on lockdown due to a shooting. Occurred on campus, outside a portable classroom, but the police will only say one person is in hospital in critical condition, and will not say if it’s a student. The school, and a block or so around, it is closed down…the students were being held in the stadium until they could be bussed 6 miles to a “reunion center” to be released (their backpacks, books, laptops, cars, etc are all locked down at the campus). Parents/guardians are being directed to the reunion center, but are currently sitting in their vehicles waiting to present ID to get their student released…this is now 2-3 hours after the event. After all those students are released, I’ve no idea what they’ll do with the remaining students without a parent/guardian to “recover” them…they’re 6 miles away from the school, and Arlington has no public transit. This is the situation that parents say means their students need their cell phones. Basically, any student without a cell phone is unable to let their family know they’re OK unless friends can help them. It’s a s**t argument, but necessary in today’s ’Murica.its also why kids as young as 8 or less are increasingly showing up at school with cell phones here.
  12. It could be worse…we started out with planners assuming people would figure out the “new” roundabouts…nope…cue first series of signs: That didn’t stop people from turning left IMMEDIATELY and going the wrong way on the roundabout to turn left…cue round two: Nah, the dot wasn’t helping, and neither did the curved line version…cue round three, adding overhead signage directly over each lane: Mild improvements in compliance, but still way to many who treat the entrance to a roundabout as a stop line before proceeding. And, yes, the lanes are clearly marked for each carriageway and the required exit point halfway around, and yet…
  13. You forgot Brunch, Linner, Dunch and Dinper…not to mention Second Breakfast!
  14. It does make you wonder how a 10-ft limit on flamethrowers is advantageous.
  15. Is it small enough for a large clear bin liner? Cover it at night or if the winds kick up perhaps…but make sure to secure that bag in that case.
  16. Maybe they can name the tech demonstrator “Richard Pryor”?
  17. Legal to own/operate in 48 states, cost of $9,420, gasoline/napalm reservoir, 1 hour battery, Bluetooth and WiFi for phone control. LIDAR for obstacle avoidance, camera for controlling beyond visual range, and laser sighting…Jesus wept. The 2 states that they aren’t legal in are Maryland (flamethrowers are regulated require need a “destructive device license”) and California (flamethrowers limited to 10-foot range).
  18. In my 36 years in the DFW area, I’ve seen conditions that would allow proper use of fog lights less than a dozen times, yet every f**king c**t and their brother has the damn things and drives with them on all the time. In the ‘90’s and into the ‘00’s, fog lights were generally confined to top trim levels and expensive cars, so everyone with them turned them on to show their status, but now… Extra ball ache is the lifted trucks with headlights never adjusted for being 6 feet+ off the ground, and their fog lights blazing directly into everyone’s rear view mirrors. Oh, and they all fail to realize many of their vehicles have a rear fog light that makes it look like their brakes are being applied all the time (which happens more than you’d think due to poorly trained neanderthals driving automatics two-footed).
  19. The Ford ecoblue in Transits is the infamous example of how sh***y these wet belt setups can be. Oil change interval can be an element in the life of wet belts, especially if you follow the manufacturers 10,000 mile oil change interval suggestion, it’s likely you will have the belt failing sooner. Have the mechanic changing the oil next asked to keep an eye on the draining oil for any sign of belt debris perhaps? It’s not efficient, but you might get a little warning if he sees some clumps in the oil. On the other hand, by the time you see those, the oil pickups are likely clogging. Hopefully you’re changing oil at least once a year anyway, even at only 8k miles, so that might have helped.
  20. As long as they define the playoffs as part of the Championship “Competition”, yes. Page 139 of the current JPP stipulates that the Championship “Competition” includes the “play off competitions”. Now, this does leave a rather perplexing question on total yellows and suspension, as the phrase there is “League Season”, and the SPFL Documents clearly suggest the Play Offs occur after the season…but with just Easton on 9 and Byrne on 8, we’re (hopefully) unlikely to face a question there. So, a red on Saturday would be miss the Arbroath final, and perhaps (for A1-3 reasons) the first playoff match*. Likewise, a red next Friday will have play off consequences. *Excepting Millen and E. Murray, who already having a sending off offence on the books, would either serve 2 or 3 matches for a second yellow or straight red.
  21. The U.S. is perhaps starting to realize, a wee bit, that anti-Zionism is not anti-Semitism. Edited to add: However, the batshit Trump wing continues to post roaring lions and the Israeli flag or Trump facing down some evil creature in front of crossed U.S. and Israeli flags and fire.
