I don't really think it sounds 'too good to be true'. Seems like a diligent, measured shift in ownership, but it's just one step in a long trek, as opposed to last year's fiasco which was meant to be a fix-all solution Don't think we'll see any immediate benefits, but it seems positive whichever way you spin it

Beyond the obvious GK and CB I think another RB should be the priority. As things stand Gary Miller is our backup there (unless I'm missing something obvious) and he also happens to be our best holding midfielder See the point with regards to quality on the bench but I'd argue having Gomis, Todd, Telfer and Sammon in reserve, along with a couple of promising younger players, means we're in decent shape considering the circumstances Would much rather swap Sammon for someone who can be arsed, granted, but it is what it is

It's all about the mentality though isn't it? I'd rather watch a team with 5 defenders play with the mentality we had yesterday (actually pressing the ball and getting forward in numbers when we have it) than with 4 and the turgid lethargy we showed under McKinnon if we didn't score an early goal. Having said that I think I'd rather drop one of Dixon or Doyle (probably Dixon) into the back 3 and give someone else with a bit more pace and directness a go at WB (Moore or, at the risk of being shouted at, maybe MacLean).
