Been at a few Clyde games recently and been absolutely shocked at the abuse given to one of the players, as I mentioned in posts on other threads this should not be happening, I think it’s time for your club to start videoing these Neanderthals and getting the police involved, the person involved was never charged and it’s creating a vile atmosphere for young supporters to watch football, no one knows what went on with the player involved but you just had to watch the news today to see a mentally I’ll guy spout off lies to the police to end several prominent politicians careers, come on Clyde FC protect your players

You know what, I had a think about what I wrote there and QP would not be the same attraction if they went professional, I suppose that’s part of the enjoyment of watching them, waiting with anticipation on seeing who they’ve managed to get a hold of for the following season, giving guys from the juniors a chance etc, they’ll always survive because they sign guys with a point to prove playing for free

Well if QP do turn professional I don’t see what the problem would be, they’d be in the same boat as every other club, but unlike every other club they are not restricted to being in a small town for sponsorship opportunities, they reside in the 3rd largest city in the British isles, I’m sure with the correct backroom team they can use a good PR team to attract sponsors when they’re not involved in an amateur mentality which probably scares off serious sponsors, always remember there’s thousands of Glaswegians who cannot stomach the 2 “big”ot teams, a lot of them have turned to watching Glasgow warriors, why not Queen’s Park?

QP fans must be really excited about the current crop of players signed up for this season, Marko Roberts seems to have done his homework Thought the 2 guys from Largs looked the part and generally the team looks far stronger than last year, all the best for the season ahead, from what little I’ve seen of them I’d be really surprised if they’re not in the play offs this year Clyde don’t know what’s about to hit them!!!

It’s absolutely disgusting the abuse that’s dished out to the guy goodwillie, he’s a fantastic player for Clyde, they’re a different team when he’s playing, he fills the team with confidence, I watched young 6-7 year olds watch grown men shout “beast” and “rapist” at the guy for most of the time he played and it was totally out of order, rather sad in fact, it was a long time ago and he was found not guilty, for Christ sake give it a rest with the abuse, it’s not nice to listen to and very unfair for the younger supporters

Really impressed with QP last night, they looked right up for it, can't believe it was the same Airdrie team I saw playing Clyde off the park for most of the game, don't know if they went into the game thinking they were in for a stroll
