Never managed to get over to the NF vs hurlford game unfortunately last night. Reading this it appears NF using any means they could to try get the better of hurlford by changing the game to that cow field (and I’m just going by pictures). However seems they showed their worth and put up a decent fight against hurlford. Will need to get along to one of their games to give a true opinion however at this point I still can’t see them finishing in the top 4. I think the more experienced premier teams will shine through with hurlford clinching the title yet again narrowly to glenburn. Hope I’m wrong but time will tell

New Farm 1-5 Thistle Tarbolton 1-3 Shortlees Dirrans 4-1 Kilbride Cumnock 3-0 Mossblown Ardeer 4-1 stewarton Fair play to NF and dailly for their start. Today will be the true test for NF I believe though. First game against not only one of the top 5 of last year but the current champions. I already see this as a season where there won’t be a true dominant team and I really hope someone will challenge Hurlford for the league (at least I hope). Top two games of the night I see as NF and HT for obvious reasons then dirrans vs Kilbride. Dirrans coming over a great result against ardeer then to a poor result against dailly so it’ll be interesting to see how they react to that. And Kilbride can’t afford to lose tonight or they’re in serious trouble already. Look forward to the scores coming in.

Will be interesting to see how NF get on against any of the top 5 from last year. Until then I couldn’t see them replacing any of the top 5 however I could be wrong. Great result from dirrans athletic on their first game of the season. Kilbride seem to be struggling big time even if it was against the current champions or not. Dailly going under the radar I see. Not much getting said about them and they’re getting there results. However I see them in the same boat as NF where it’ll be interesting to see how they get on against the top 5 from last year.

I’d need to disagree with that. Both great players however kemp has been at the very highest level of junior as well as a spell at senior. Wilson is in his 1st year at junior I believe. (I could be wrong)

Not saying that however they were already there or there abouts id say

Calvin Kemp signed with Kilbride from talbot. Surely puts them as title challengers despite their result at the weekend.
