  1. I'd imagine Burke will start tonight and we'll set up to play on the counter, one thing we do have in this team is pace so it could be effective. Quite confident tbh 3-1 Belgium
  2. That is something I haven't tried in fairness. I'm 22 so I shouldn't really have a goosed hamstring at this point. I still regularly play amateur football and no pain involved while doing that so it's bizarre. Must be something I'm doing wrong
  3. I have! I don't mind box squats actually, I've tried sumo squats and pin squats too and they're not too bad either.
  4. I'm usually fine my first few sets. it's when I get 3 or 4 sets in to a heavy-ish working set weight like 100kg it starts to happen. I've tried dropping the weight and it still happens just not as bad. I've had sets filmed before too and the form looks alright if i'm honest. Might need to sub in a new exercise instead.
  5. I train with various people at different times and they haven't noticed anything overly incorrect with my form. I'm considering squatting in the smith machine to see if the assisted style of doing it helps. gives me an excuse to skip leg day tbf so it's not all bad
  6. I've tried adjusting my form a few times, trying different squat styles etc. maybe I've just got a dodgy hammy but it's an absolute nightmare at times.
  7. Does anyone else get a horrible stinging pain in their hamstring when doing squats? I don't get it doing anything else just squats and it almost every time ruins my leg days. I've tried stretching before sessions and doing a lot of warm up sets and nothing seems to stop it.
  8. Dorian Yates also dabbled in the Mexican Supplements lets not miss that out but yeah I get what you mean about the hour sessions, especially when training alone.
  9. I get that three times a week is usually alright but I literally have no excuse not to go. my job is 9-5 and I don't have kids or anything so I should be able to go 5 times a week and take the weekend off

I have set goals for myself for the year in the gym and I was really motivated but a month or two ago I lost all desire to go and only really went 3 times a week after that, thankfully the motivation is back and I might if i'm lucky reach my target weight for all three compound movements... fingers crossed anyway
  11. I had my first session a week ago funnily enough, I thought I was a fairly fit person but I felt exhausted after it. Totally worth it though it's a lot of fun!
  12. I wish we would sign some unknown foreign players that we could get excited about for no reason other than that we have no idea how good they'll be. Derek Adams was especially fond of this near the end of his time with us.   13. That says a lot when he was comfortably our best Left Back until he left. Sean Kelly in the premiership is giving me Vietnam style flashbacks
  14. He was at the end before he snaked us I was meaning a different Greek Left back in all honesty but Stelios would be a massive improvement on what we have currently.
  15. He must have blocked a total of 3 or less crosses last season in all the games he played, he can cross a ball himself mind you but that isn't enough at this level. Wonder If a certain Greek gentleman may be persuaded to return to the highlands?
  16. When he first came to the club I thought we were looking at another Tim Chow. A runner who can recycle the ball but not do much else. He's our best outlet in terms of scoring goals from midfield now and his decision making has improved massively. First name on the team sheet (along with Mullin) IMO
  17. I'm surprised that teams haven't openly been showing an interest in Lindsay, a goal scoring midfielder who can defend as well is hard to come by these days.
  18. I think that a Left Back is now a priority. I have a feeling that the managers really rate Sean Kelly (I actually don't mind him on the ball but off it he's a bombscare) so I can see them bringing a goalkeeper and a forward in then leaving the squad as is until January. 10th is 100% the aim going by our business so far.
