Not sure what people expect from Bartley here. It is clear that this squad has a number of players that frankly aren't good enough. Can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. Seems to be a very short term attitude on here from some folks. I am not a Bartley happy clapper but we have to see what he does in summer and judge him from there. Anything else is pointless as it isn't his squad. 4 players do not make a squad. -

Agree on Marvin's interview. Nothing there to moan about. Seems to me that a bit of fear needs to be instilled into some of these guys. If I performed as badly at work I would expect a rocket and eventually booted if I didn't pick up my game. The only thing I do disagree with is him stating nothing wrong with their attitude. To me that is what is wrong. If they came with the attitude of putting in a shift and working hard they probably wouldn't get beaten as much. -

Lol. An open plan stadium. Like say, a park? -

I'd heard 'Stadio Dock Park' being touted in the Metaverse. Before we transition to become the first professional virtual football team in 2030 -

Wonder who is working for this "unmanned" social media company? -

Much as I dislike plastic, another advantage is that it mitigates fixture congestion. If players csn play regularly and avoid a run of x games in x days because of previous weather related cancellations, then that also has to be an advantage. There have been times when we've been one of the few games that are played in the league. This also helps cash flow. Plus I have seen some dreadful natural pitches. -

Couple of things. Is East injured? Many here were saying he was one of our better defenders. If so, how come he can't get picked? Reilly has always struck me as a confidence player. I think that is his problem at the moment - he has little. I remember seeing him with the fans at the Hibs Cup game a few years back (Dobbie's return) even though he had moved to Hearts so he obviously still cared about the club and team. I suspect he will know he is not firing and that won't be helping him. If you can work on sorting that he may start scoring. -
I don't disagree qos75, however that was the reason the Board stated for getting rid. So to appoint Murray when his performances have been if anything worse would look inconsistent with that statement.

Murray managed to get a late victory against one of the two shitest teams in the league and this. So he has proven he is no better than Wullie who was sacked for his performance.

Not sure if I can stay up any longer waiting for the announcement. Will have to pick it up when I wake up tomorrow. Along with the new player promised by Mr Dudley. Hope I get some sleep, the excitement may prevent that. -

What, the fact he thought he was getting budget x and is now getting budget y? Or has his investigative prowess identified malfeasance at Palmerston? -

BTW what is going on with the BBC League One Top Scorers table? Annan, Forfar and Dumbarton apparently playing in our league. -

Seem to remember a LC quarter final with Celtic in the early 90s. Joe Miller scored for them. Think we had won a midweek thriller vs Airdrie in the previous round. Of course this could all be rubbish. My memory is pretty suss -

Only thing to point out is that recent research showed that being double jabbed didnt prevent you getting covid or even passing it on, but it lowered the likelihood of severe impacts. If that is the case, tricky to see how we will keep a league going, esp once the darker colder months lead to an inevitable increase in cases.- 102 replies

Yeah we need to focus on our performances and let others worry about theirs. All we can do is focus on winning our games. If we do then we'll be in the playoffs. As others have mentioned, staying in this league after where we were after the 1st third of the season feels like a big win anyway. -

Had a laugh at Breakfast News on BBC this morning. Apparently our cup run is over. And what a run! I'm sure we'll be talking about it for years. -

To be fair I thought McFadden was right. The easy answer to the question would have been to say yes, but he said not at this point. Which given our circumstances is correct. The fact we have to start from virtual scratch each year and rely on loan signings is evidence enough I would say. I am not criticising this approach as it keeps us afloat, but it isn't one that is designed for premiership success. -

As others have said, positives were not getting an absolute pumping, no injuries plus Jones looks good back from injury. But we were outclassed. Good luck against the banjo players. -

Just about to say that. Doesn't look any better than when he played for Raith against us. Maybe we're his bogey club. He'll probably score now. -

I have a bit of fear here. If we play with a keeper who has known the defence for 1 day then there is likely to be confusion between them. Hope I am wrong.
