  1. After last nights huge three points we have got to make use of our remaining two games in hand. Not seen much of Queens this season expect against us and the odd TV game, but I’m led to believe they have picked up a bit of late under Gibson. Really important game for both sides. With us fighting for any chance left at the title and Queens fighting for survival, I expect a tight game. I would take another scrappy 1-0 Thistle win similar to Friday night all day, as long as we get the three points.
  2. Very hard league to call but I’ll go for, Arbroath to win the league Killie or Thistle in the play off finals Dunfermline 9th Queen of the South 10th
  3. Going to be a real tough one. We have a honking record against Arbroath. Neither side in good form though so anything could happen. Got a feeling it’ll be a real tight one.
  4. https://ptfc.co.uk/ptfc-news/greenock-morton-stream-now-available-for-purchase-2/
  5. Some images of the pitch coming out today and it looks slightly improved. Nine days without use will have given it a much needed break, so I’m hopeful tomorrow night goes ahead.
  6. With luck the weather doesn’t batter the pitch too much over the next few days and this game can go ahead. The pitch will be guff anyway, but we cannot be doing with anymore call offs.
  7. Another call off would be a nightmare. I think it’s meant to calm down a bit at around 18:00, so hopefully the game goes ahead. Our midweek trip to Inverness managed to be played in similar conditions.
  8. I don’t even want to imagine what our schedule would look like with any more postponements. We need to bring in another striker, whether that is on loan or a free agent. Graham is of course providing the goods with 18 goals this season, but it would do no harm to take the pressure off him a bit and get some extra cover in the goalscoring department.
  9. I would like to hope the final signing(s) McCall wants in are done in time for this game.
  10. We aren’t in bad form in the league to be honest, two wins and three draws from our last five league outings. However, in two of those draws we led multiple times in both games so it feels like points dropped. With our remaining games in hand and our current position we are definitely still in the promotion race.
  11. We played pretty well today, so it’s disappointing we went out the cup. Back to league duty though and it’s a Friday night trip to Dunfermline. Three points would be great Thistle. Thank you.
  12. Any word on potential loan signings coming in? McCall mentioned he wanted to add a few more faces in the loan window.
  13. Our pitch is honking. Groundsharing is surely the main factor in the state of the park. At this rate we will now be playing twice a week until the end of the season.
  14. An important three points last night in what was not a great game. Picking up another win in this one could start a bit of an important run of form for ourselves. Including the cup game both sides have beaten the other and drawn once, so it’ll be interesting to see how this one pans out. I do believe we have enough to win it though. Unfortunately don’t expect much great football on our pitch Queens fans.
  15. Three games in hand we hold over the two teams directly above us, a win here would be a good start. Ayr seem a bit up and down with recent form including some impressive results, with wins over Arbroath and Raith. You would like to think we will have added to the squad in the coming days in time for this game. Any win will do here Thistle. Thank you.
  16. Any word on the signing front? All seems to have gone quiet.
  17. Really looking forward to this game, great to have away games with fans returning. We have a honking record against Arbroath recently but a win here would be massive. Can’t say I’m super confident of winning though as last time we played Arbroath won with ease. Would be good to have another signing in by this game.
  18. Agreed he didn’t make many memorable mistakes, the only one that comes to mind for me was on the final day in the game that didn’t matter against Montrose, he conceded a shot through his legs straight at him but no one cared as we had already won the title.
  19. He was a pretty good keeper for us, made an outstanding save in a win against Airdrie. Seven clean sheets in 15 appearances in all competitions for us which is a pretty decent record.
  20. That is a fantastic bit of business. Might be bias but I consider him the best centre half in the league.
  21. Reportedly both teams want the game to go ahead, so maybe a decent chance it will happen.
