If we avoid defeat here I’d say we are pretty comfy for playoffs, I think a win would probably all but seal 3rd. But it’s Thistle and the Championship so you never know. Dunfermline have picked up improved form, pretty much since we last played them, so I am expecting a tough game. We have defended better over the last three games, so I’m hopeful that continues into this one. I enjoy Dunfermline away.

After back to back wins and a long overdue cleansheet, I am feeling more confident for this one than before. The previous three meetings between the sides this season have all been bad games of football, so I’m hopeful this does not follow suit.

Very pleased to pick up three points and keep our first clean sheet in what feels like forever. Felt we should have scored at least one more goal for our pressure, it was a stressful last 10 minutes while we held on. A throughly enjoyable away day as per usual at Arbroath. I know it is a tough ask for Arbroath to stay up now, but good luck for the rest of the season, would be a real shame to lose you from the league.

There is no maroon coloured emoji, therefore I tried to make use of the closest I could get to maroon, being red. I have now changed it to the Latvian flag as it’s the best alternative colour wise.

Can’t wait for this game. Arbroath is always such an enjoyable away day, then off to the womens final the next day.

A crucial fixture for both sides. I have very little confidence going into this one, we just don’t look like winning a game.

Today was yet another game that we have had to drag ourselves back level from two goals down. We need to tighten up at the back for this one.

After a much improved performance today I am now looking forward to the next game. It will be interesting to see if we stick with the team from today or make any adjustments.

I was very pleasantly surprised to see how solid we were today. A professional performance from the team. Mitchell was good in goals.

Maybe tonight will be the night.

Somebody said to me that you have not won a league game by more than one goal this season, is that correct? I had just assumed you had at some point as it seems you have had a lot of high scoring games, but then again a good few have been crazy action packed wins.

I said Gaston could have maybe done better with the goal, but he has made some really smart stops since then.

Very surprised to see that Kyle Turner is not taking Raith’s set pieces. One of the best, most consistent set piece deliverers I have seen in the last decade with Thistle.

Raith need a second goal with the amount of pressure they have had, Arbroath look like they could have a potential counter attack goal in them.

Rudden is a real confidence player, once he gets going he is a great asset to have. Looked hopeless for large spells in league one with us, but the second he scored his first league goal he never looked back. This raith spell feels like a similar restart for him.

It is a really clever finish, but I feel Gaston could have done a bit better. Maybe I am just being really harsh.

Mitchell has to be restored to the starting XI now, cannot see the justification to keep him on the bench behind Stewart. I think we will likely see one or two other changes to the team. I have to say I am not feeling even the slightest bit confident for this game. Would take a 0-0 right now. Hold on we don’t keep clean sheets, would take a 5-5 right now.

I agree, Adeloye has done well goal wise for the minutes he has been given. I would argue that he is a better all round player than Dowds technique wise, Dowds always looked a bit clunky on the ball while with us. That said, Dowds clearly is a goal scorer, he is proving that this season and did also start last season impressively for us despite a lack of minutes. I would say both are good strikers for this level. Adeloye is unlucky to have only be given two starts throughout this league season (both of which he scored in) but it is difficult when you are stuck behind the league’s top scorer and club captain.

After the disappointment of last night I am pleased that there is another game so soon. I would hope that Mitchell is brought back in for this one.

Looking forward to this one. I know Friday night games aren’t everybody’s cup of tea, but personally I always enjoy them. I would imagine we will make one or two changes to the team going into this game.

After the disappointment of yesterday’s result I am hoping we can bounce back with a good performance here. The two previous games between the sides this season haven’t exactly been all timers. Three points could be important here with Morton finding form, 4th place is not quite as far behind as it once was.

Both sides off the back of a good win against opposition from the league above in the Scottish Cup. Expecting a tough game here, a win for us would put some welcome distance between us and 4th place. However, an Airdrie win would mount some pressure on our position. Looking forward to it.

It’s nice to have another game so soon after a win. We weren’t super convincing yesterday but we got the job done. Hopefully we see some more consistency to our play on Saturday, but I’d take any sort of win.
