The Mrs and I caved and got a pizza for tea. Archie perked up a fair bit from his nap so I gave him a bit of crust. Didn't eat it but looked really alert and interested.

The Mrs disappeared into the kitchen and brought through a bowl with a some oatmilk that he tentatively drank. So hes had a few tiny bits of crust soaked in oat milk now too but that was with a fight.

Really need him to eat some solids to help dry his leaky arse up!!

Try small portions of beef/chicken baby food to see if it helps get his appetite back

Milk spilled in my fridge due to a burst (?) plastic milk bottle about a week ago.  I cleaned it as soon as i noticed, but the guff of sour milk was horrific in the following days.  I emptied the fridge and washed all the shelves, walls, storage boxes, etc, but the guff was still there.  I ordered some "fridge fresheners" online and they have been in place, along with 2 halves of lemon, for about 2 days.  The guff is still there, although not as strong as earlier, especially on the first door opening in the morning.

Any miracle cures or advice about getting rid of the guff ??  Maybe the "fresheners" take a few days to be effective, but other than doing another deep clean, i don't know what to do.

    Cheers

Yes, I think you did get people going to watch both - I've heard that before.  I suppose that could act as a bridge for switching or generational drift.  I can't believe that huge numbers would have done that though.

For me, the mystery involves United quadrupling their gates over a couple of seasons, while Dundee's remained constant.  Who were these new fans?  They can't all have been Dundee fans heading out every Saturday and it's not as if there was much historic evidence of a dormant United fan base, suddenly stirred into life.

Something interesting happened and it's clearly related to the clubs' changing fortunes.  I'm still mystefied though, by the fact that the biggest shift towards United came well before Dundee started a decline on the field.  Indeed it arrived just before Dundee hit their peak.

I've no idea where your getting this.United  were getting 8-9000 in the forties just the same as the sixties. If any thing United's support dropped during Dundee's decline.

Wales has no travel restrictions within its national borders and there is zero talk of getting the polis to dish out fines for utter jobsworth reasons. Ditto New Zealand and the US (which aren't even relevant to the Scottish case, being at either ends of the spectrum anyway).

Much of Wales is now subject to local restrictions, which mean people living in these local health protection areas are not able to travel beyond their county boundaries without a reasonable excuse. These rules are designed to prevent the spread of infection within Wales and to other areas of the UK.

By far the most tinpot thing any club possibly in history has done has to be Dundee voting to hand a title and promotion to their local rivals and at the same time cancel play-offs that could have seen themselves get promoted AND vote to demote a team with much bigger resources into their league to make it harder for them to get promoted the following season. Tinpot doesn't even begin to describe it.

I think a club pushing to get the goal difference rule brought in that then cost them the title in 86 is more tinpot.

What's even better is the team that beat them on the last day in 86 also beat them 7-1 in 65 which fucked their goal average and cost them another title.
