  1. Chalmers is like playing with a man down, arguably one of the most negative players to have put on a Pars shirt. Otoo by contrast is improving every game and has been our player of the season. The lad just doesn't stop all game, he's got a real promising future at a higher level.
  2. Yeh if we're being realistic, we need Raith not to shit the bed midweek and we need to win on Saturday to have a serious chance of finishing 4th.
  3. Unless there's any injuries (which wouldn't be a surprise) we should absolutely go with the same eleven that started against Ayr. The additions of Welch-Hayes and Kane, as well as the return of Todd have improved us significantly. Plus we are so much better without Chalmers in midfield slowing everything down, Allan arguably put in his best performance at the weekend alongside Otoo in the middle and his corners are causing opposition defences nightmares. The matches against Airdrie tend to be close but if we can play like we did at the weekend, there's no reason why we shouldn't be confident about getting another crucial three points to keep the momentum going into the Fife Derby.
  4. What an absolute belter of a result. Get Munro on the team sheet for the rest of our games this season, lad had a blinder.
  5. The Livingston guy? Would put Moffat on for Holmes, Moffat likes shooting and would fancy his chances against Stewart in goals.
  6. Benjamin against Fitzpatrick and a CM marking arguably the best striker in the league was always going to be a rough watch.
  7. Bit weird how this guy from Livingston isn't starting especially with Comrie tearing his ACL and he's apparently more of a RB than CB? Unfortunately, this could be a long night for us boyz.
  8. Been out injured most of the season, should fit in well.
  9. If he gets a CB in this week and we go with Hamilton & Otoo in central midfield like we did in the 1st half against Arbroath, we might give Partick a game. Still expect to get battered though, we haven't won in nine so winning at Firhill seems highly unlikely.
  10. We actually scored a goal We didn't lose We didn't have to watch Joe Chalmers Yay? No in all seriousness, Arbroath were a poor outfit and we couldn't beat them either, can't see where our next win is coming from, sleepwalking to League One at this rate under McPake.
  11. I was hoping we would have had more than one loan signing in before this one so I am not confident in the slightest. Unless there's a surprise defensive boost allowing Hamilton and Otoo to play in the midfield it's probably going to be more of the same turgid pish with the usual two clowns in the middle of the park. Massive game though, we have to win, nothing less is acceptable.
  12. Sign a CM by Saturday, drop Chalmers and Allan and we might be on to something...
  13. We had lost the game today before it even started with these two numpties in central midfield. I am absolutely sick of seeing them stink up the park playing in a league they're not good enough for. They both need dropped if we're to have any chance of staying up. Two new midfielders on loan are an absolute must.
  14. Yeh McPake needs to be gone tonight. Fucking disgrace.
  15. Have to agree regarding the board, we haven't improved under their stewardship, we've regressed. Seven year plan? What a total nonsense.
  16. Just pay him off right now and cut our losses before we have to endure any more pain. Joe Chalmers that is.
  17. Horrible conditions out there today, hopefully everyone stays safe.
  18. In regards to Reilly, fair enough if Partick were offering a longer deal but they can offer a better package all round than us in our present state, so why waste our time? We're more likely to end up with a young CB on loan from Celtic B than we are to bring in a Reilly or Ashcroft sadly...
  19. Considering teams higher than us were in for Reilly, we would have been wasting our time, not a chance he would have signed for us. Unfortunately club size is irrelevant when it comes to Ashcroft, if Raith are wanting him, he ends up there as he's got a chance of winning the league or promotion, we're not achieving either this season.
