I see "Marvin Bartley gaming" is trending on Google too. As was "Queen of the South f.c." earlier in the day. We are finally hitting the big time.

I just wish we could hear something from the club one way or the other. Even if it is along the lines of - we are in a difficult position but we truly believe Marvin is the best person to take us forward for X reason. Or the usual "results based business" he tried his best but we need to make a change. Some kind of plan of action. Please

I've came to this conclusion...

I feel for him having watched the interview. He is very professional and commited and can't understand why some of the players are not of the same mindset as him. I suppose that is partly the key in any form of management of people... knowing what motivates people on an individual basis and using that to get the best out of them. Theory of mind.

Are they knocking lumps out of each other because they don't get on as a group? Is that part of the problem?

I think that is a great appointment by Clyde. He saved us when we were sitting bottom of the Championship. All the best for the rest of the season.

Football is a "results business" though. Remember that...

I remember though some good football at times under Wullie Gibson. Particularly the win at home over Edinburgh. No enjoyable games in the league so far this season at Palmerston. Every season over the last five/six years you think things can't get any worse...then they do

Worrying that Edinburgh City are starting to win and pick up points too. I'm genuinely worried that we could finish bottom this season.

Gavin Reilly was the only player on the pitch today (for me) who looked like he actually cares about playing for Queens. He tried and tried with lots of good movement but no supply.

I never thought I would say this but I would prefer now if we went back to Part time. Watching this year after year is painful and depressing. At least if we were paying a good part time wage we could attract the best part time players and some of the players might stay for more than a season. At the moment they either leave because they have a good season or leave because they have had a bad season and are moving on. Constant rebuild year after year and no connection to the players anymore.

Three points from second bottom. Definitely starting to look at the bottom of the league rather than the top.

Pretty cool! I hope he stays with us for the season.

Marvin also seems like a very astute person and I don't think he would have joined us in the first place if he didn't think he could get us back up to the Championship with the budget on offer.
