Nowadays there are no decent barbers in my area, though I still visit a nearest hair salon to trim my scalp. True. Especially if those have noise canceling feature like Plantronics BB2 or Sony WH1000. I find those truly godsend, I don't hear any other people making noise or a disgusting modern music playing at the gym. More over some people take small kids there which are also annoying. By the way I also got myself a smart watch. It is said here that those are mostly designed for runners, but I really like it because it helps to track my cardio. I tried listening to podcasts but I focus on it too much and lose my concentration. I prefer something like good old industrial music.

Noticed my first gray hair when I was 30... Now I color it almost every month, don't want my head go silver till 50.
