The Terrible Journalism & Tom English Thread

I actually don't see what's wrong with that - it's a bit of fun. -

Tbf Martindale has such a large say in the running of the club (more so than any other Premiership manager) so it's fair to say Livi will be against the proposal if he says so.
-
Almost as if the season is over, and there's a plan to relegate most of the teams in the division. Does seem like a fairly important thing to talk about.

Considering Lochee United can still win the division (however unlikely that is) - is there any possibility that the Highland League Play-off can take place.
-
Don't know why but I trust Queen's Park to bottle it more than I trust Dundee to do so. Dundee are winning this 1-0, with a goal on the break in the 88th minute. If Queen's lose this, then there is not a chance they will win the playoffs, they look like they will lose the semi-final 4-0 to ICT/Ayr/Thistle

Haddington came out and backed Musselburgh Statement.

How many clubs have full voting rights? Is it every club in the top five tiers, or is it every member club in the top six tiers? I know it's changed recently.

Players whomst you wish not only never played for your football club, but also never played professional football in Scotland - perhaps even the entire world - so that you had absolutely no chance of knowing what contemptible people they were

I'm sure there's a thread for it somewhere but Married at First Sight Australia has been absolutely batshit insane. There's always a few arseholes, but this series has probably had the most vacuous, nasty and rotten piece of work I've ever seen on any of these shows, and worst of all she's supposed to be a Nurse! There's also a guy who blatantly just goes in to stir up shit. Incredible television. Yes, I hate myself for watching but I just can't look away. -
Ross County vs Aberdeen

Duk won't be at Aberdeen long. He could easily be another transfer record for them. Cracking player. Annoyingly -

BBC list him as freelancer - and will pay him expenses plus a fee when he's needed. The number of people you hear on Sportsound that actually work for the BBC as employees is surprisingly small. The reporters and commentators are mostly from a pool of "freelancers" that they have, the "hired" a bunch of them a few months ago. -
The Terrors v The Hibees

Ayina was probably Man of the Match today, I know Fletcher was excellent (bar that miss) but Ayina really has upped his game quickly at Tannadice. We need to sign him on a permanent deal in the summer. He's only 19 as well, so would have a decent re-sale value -
If Killie can have Apple Wallet tickets then the Scottish FA can. The best Tickets App out there was the one I used for The Open, you could transfer tickets between phones if sharing with mates etc.

This is one (of many) issues with the Colt Teams, is that due to their other commitments (First XI, Youth Internationals, UEFA Youth League, Glasgow Cup) the quality of their Starting XI can vary massively from a team full of players that have played at first team level, to effectively an U18 side, and it makes a total mockery of the league as a result. The fact is that Dalbeattie could escape relegation because Celtic aren't bothered seems particularly unfair.

Sky Sports are Taking the Piss Thread
Ray Patterson replied to Ludo*1's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
Worth noting that those extra 20 games - which are 2 packages of 10 matches - are matches that probably won't involve the Old Firm as there at the "Other 10's" grounds. Absolutely baffling that you can have a centralised league TV deal where two clubs get special treatment. £10 charity bet that Viaplay snap them up at about £2m each - half of what the SPFL want. The new Sky deal is a complete shambles, and the EFL getting the best part of £200m a season proves it. People should be resigning at club and league level over this. -
Avoid defeat next weekend against Tranent (A), and win their two remaining matches against Cowdenbeath (H) and Berwick (A) and that's the league title for Spartans, and a HAHAHAHHAHAA from all football fans toward the Old Firm
