  1. Yeah but they have a DD Postcode, so just be pragmatic eh. Maybe that could be an exception that the Dividing line is the Tay Bridge (with the exception of those that have a DD postcode: Newport, Tayport and Wormit) Could also put a kink in it at Luncarty as well so that Luncarty go South, Tayport go North.
  2. FFS, just use some pragmatism. How about this MS Paint Job: (Just add the SOS in for arguments sake)
  3. Right idea, but North Caley League would only be a league for the Far North. Would look something like this: Tier 6 – North Caledonian League (12 teams) Tier 6 – North East Premier League (14 teams) Orkney Golspie Sutherland Thurso Invergordon Inverness Athletic Bonar Bridge St Duthus Halkirk Utd Bunillidh Thistle Nairn St. Ninian Kinlochbervie New Inverness side (No Relegation) Banks O'Dee Bridge of Don Thistle Montrose Roselea Hermes Culter Maud Hall Russell Utd Lochee Utd Broughty Athletic Downfield Dundee North End Kirriemuir Thistle Carnoustie Panmure Forfar West End Tier 7 – Grampian First Division (14 teams) Tier 7 – Tayside First Division (10 teams) Colony Park Dyce Juniors Aberdeen East End Ellon Utd Dufftown Stonehaven Banchory St. Ternan Buckie Rovers Burghead Thistle Deveronside Sunnybank Aberdeen Uni Forres Thistle Fraserburgh Utd Scone Thistle Tayport Arbroath Victoria Brechin Victoria Blairgowrie Coupar Angus Dundee Violet East Craigie Forfar Albion Lochee Harp Tier 8 – Grampian Second Division (10 teams) Longside Stoneywood Parkvale Buchanhaven Hearts Cruden Bay Glentanar Islavale New Elgin Newmachar Utd Spey Valley Utd Whitehills
  4. I think that puts Fauldhouse in the Confirmed category.
  5. That's his point. Like myself and others including @Marten have said, keep the HL/LL boundry as is. Have the Tayside and Northern Supers (-Nairn) merge to form the Grampian and Tayside feeder for the HL, with the NCL (+ Nairn) covering the Far North.
  6. A fact I still can't get over was the clubs demand for 12 less games per season in the new broadcast deal. I would have wanted 12 more ffs! No wonder Sky don't take the SPFL seriously if they say show one game per week, and very occasionally two. If they offered them 72 games (Plus playoffs) Sky might have even dedicated more resources to the SPFL hence improving the leagues stature and standing UK wide and attracting new sponsorship. Neil Doncaster did pretty fucking well, to almost double the amount per game they were paying. Imagine with 72 games per season, the SPFL could have got £50m or so per year.
  7. Filled my Fantasy team with Hearts players and put Boyce as my captain, so Hamilton will win this comfortably
  8. Update: Confirmed Expressed Interest: Largs, Kilwinning, Darvel, Irvine Meadow, Clydebank, Whitletts Victoria, Rossvale, Rutherglen Glencairn, Maryhill, Glenafton Athletic, Drumchapel United PYM Suspected of Expressing Interest: Cumnock, Petershill, Glasgow Uni, Pollok, Bonnyton Thistle, Fauldhouse, Oban Saints, Girvan
  9. Expressing interest does not mean the same as leaving.
  10. On the current list of clubs: Confirmed Expressed Interest: Largs, Kilwinning, Darvel, Irvine Meadow, Clydebank, Whitletts Victoria, Rossvale, Rutherglen Glencairn, Maryhill, Drumchapel United PYM Suspected of Expressing Interest: Cumnock, Petershill, Glasgow Uni, Pollok, Bonnyton Thistle, Fauldhouse
  11. The reason I did that was I think they'd ought to move in order to keep a Balance of numbers. Also because Nairn County are members of the North Caley FA.
  12. Realistically, the WOS and EOS should be the only feeders to the LL, with the North Caley and Northern Superleague being the same for the HL. This would provide the SFA Requirement of under 64 sides at Tier 6, it would also look like a pure pyramid of 1-2-4 from SPFL2 downwards. My personal opinion is let the WOS settle first before the SOS is "relegated" to Tier 7. It would be unfair to relegate them any further. Tier 6: Tier 7: Okay that's enough maps for now.
  13. Worked This up. It only let me do counties so I would say that P+K would definitely straddle as border territory. The same can be said of West Lothian possibly.
  14. That was the implication, that they were local leagues and the Amatuer title was just that. Similar to the Yorkshire Amatuer League at Tier 11 of the English Pyramid. They could just drop the Amatuer title and be named the Border Football League, or the Lothian and Edinburgh League or Kingdom of Fife Football League.
  15. Realistically, the best bet would be a move to Tier 8 for next season, and possible regionalisation for the following season at that level. You could have a scenario with: Premier 16 First 14-16 Second 20 (North 10 and South 10) with below that (and I know I'm getting ahead of myself here): Lothians and Edinburgh, Kingdom of Fife and Border Amatuer Leagues - with clubs only being relegated/promoted if they are willing and able (facilities) to join the EoS.
  16. Tbh where they are based can be sold for Housing at quite a reasonable rate, they could probably sell that patch of land for £8-12m depending on other factors. A good new stadium (not a boring St Mirren Park) cost about £17m, so they'd probably need to receive a sizeable loan from elsewhere, maybe a low-interest loan from NLC would be the way to go?
  17. Best bet IMO is Premier 16 First Division 18 Second Division of what's left.
  18. Sounds like Lewis Cumming's wet dream. (He's the statement league boy on Twitter)
  19. Today's Gossip Column https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51441399 Rangers Story Celtic Story Rangers Story Celtic Story Aberdeen Story Rangers Story Fucking ridiculous.
