  1. 1. Cuddihy 2. Rankin 3. Goodwillie special mentions to Grant, McNiff and Rumsby. Says it all how good we have it with this team when the majority of the typical starting XI are being nominated by fans for POTY or YPOTY. Usually it’s the 1 or 2 stand outs.
  2. Antwerp is class. Last time I was there we went into a bar called Beer Centraal which had this massive book full of beers. Anyway, I went sensible and stuck to the 5-6% stuff, my wife on the other hand was tearing into the 10-11% stuff. Safe to say, she lost her cool and we argued all the way back to the hotel with her waking up in the morning none the wiser
  3. Yep, that’s exactly what I said, never overly impressed me but goals win games and he’s scored plenty of them. Obviously biased but I’d like to see Rankin win it, he has been huge for us this season, despite all the warnings from Queen of the South fans who ironically find their team in with a shout of the relegation play offs.
  4. Atleast they replace them unlike Gilmours! Crown is a bit of a shitehole but it’s a decent wee boozer
  5. Drove past there a few weeks ago and it looked like it was having a refit
  6. This is weird. I was thinking about this the other day and was scratching my head trying to remember who was the old TV personality the stenny boys used to celebrate!
  7. Walked past Gilmours in Stenhousemuir the other day... wow! That’s all I can say
  8. @German Jag Absolute scenes at the H96 AGM!
  9. He’s never overly impressed me when I’ve seen him but can’t take away his amazing goal return, Henderson will win it.
  10. Forgot to add, the chicken pakora from the Indian next to Central Park is fucking outstanding
  11. My criteria for a good away day is... - Near a train station - Nearby boozers ideally with pool table, fitbaw on tv and a juke box - terracing at the ground and stands close to the pitch. This is why places like Annan, Ayr and Elgin are decent away days. I see the argument about Cowdenbeath but getting to Cowdenbeath by train from Glasgow is a pain in the arse, having to go via Edinburgh. Also whilst the terrace is decent, you’re miles from the pitch and the big fence and pillars causes a shite view. Mind you, sometimes that’s no a bad thing.
  12. EK would be horrific for an away day. Stenny is a cracking away day, plenty of boozers nearby and the terrace is good for vocal. Train station 10 mins walk away with regular trains to stirling glasgow and Edinburgh, defo one of my favourites. Berwick and Albion are decent away days even if Cliftonhill is a shitehole, if the weathers good then it’s decent alright.
  13. Stranraer for me. Delighted that they are staying up this year! That could be some away trip for you boys with Inverness airport being a bawhair away from Elgin. A bunch of Ross county fans done this years ago, flew Inverness to Belfast on the Friday, night out there then Saturday morning ferry to Stranraer then back after the game, flew back to Inverness on Sunday.
  14. Aye that’s how we got it first time round before complacency kicked in at Christmas. We’ve also tried a few different bottles and teets, it were the Nuk latex ones we found luck with at first but even with the larger ones now she’ll still not take it. She drinks water from the sippy cup but she’s had a teething moment of late so hasn’t wanted water either. She’s a proper wee Diva, like her maw That might be a shout, that or trying the wee medicine syringe, weans eh?!
  15. Good point. Is there not still a deadline when teams have to advise the league what stadium they’re playing in for the following season?
  16. How about from a Queen's Park fan? All joking aside, Broadwood is pretty much the worst away day. There isn't much going for it. It suits me as its piss easy to drive to, park up, watch the game then go home again. However if it were an away day, I’d fucking hate the place. Similar to Airdrie and St Johnstone away for example.
  17. Play the same team. Anytime we’ve rested players it’s came back to bite us. You can always make early substitutions like Lennon done on Saturday by taking Rankin off and playing Nichol. Keep the momentum, don’t disturb it.
  18. Tried that a few nights ago and no luck. Back before Christmas we managed to get her to take a bottle but when I had time off work we got lazy and just kept breastfeeding her for the sake of convenience, unfortunately that’s backfired big time. Mind you, I’ve not had to get up once during the night for a feed. Every cloud and that
  19. Make a big pot of soup on a Sunday, box and freeze it and have that for lunch at work. Saves a fortune on work lunch and the weight just drops off you. Consider walking or cycling to work if that’s an option? Lastly, speak to your doctor, even if you don’t fancy happy pills, they can get you on a free or heavily subsidised gym membership at the local council run gyms. Swimming is great for losing weight! I’ve suffered deperesion twice and it’s fucking horrible, i done the happy pills the first time round but got shot of them after a month and took up a gym membership and worked wonders. My second bout was caused by a totally different set of circumstances and it was those circumstances to eventually change that got me out of it however talking to people helped me get by, that and I must add a very understanding employer. All the best man. Don’t be afraid to talk, that’s the main thing.
  20. My wee lassie turned 10 months old today and what a happy wee gorgeous kid she is but we have one very small issue which is a pain in the arse, she loves Boobs as much as her Daddy . Has anyone else had issues trying to get their Baby onto a bottle? My wee lassie just point blank refuses, even if it’s expressed, tried for months and still no luck. My wife goes back to work in 2 weeks time and it’s a slight concern to say the least! please feel free to tell me to f**k off to Mumsnet
  21. LinkedIn is a load of pish. My company opened an office in the south of the Netherlands last week, mostly because of Brexit but an opportunity to expand into the Benelux and Germany, so we tried LinkedIn to see if we could tempt people to come and join us, so far nothing... but I do see plenty of inspirational speeches, made up bullshite from “Managing Directors”, often of companies where their only employee is their wife. And don’t get me started on the many messages i keep getting from Janey Godley! No idea why I accepted her invitation years ago.
  22. I did hear last summer that the Colts had failed on many of their promises and that NLL weren’t willing to extend their lease beyond this summer. I’m sure I’ve also heard whispers that the setup will move out to Guys Meadow?? No sure. Once the Colts are out then I’ll be hiring a cherry picker and putting my IPAF certificate to good use and pull that Colts crest down from the building and rip that “home of the Colts” sign off at the scoreboard. It can then be an auction prize at their next fundraising event, maybe they’ll get a few quid for it.
  23. Think that’s he boy who suffered a horrific injury last year that put him out for a year.
  24. I’m in my mid thirties and I’ve never seen QP as a rival, couldn’t really care about them to be honest. Obviously of recent years there’s been a new rivalry of some sort, a one fucking sided one at that, but still, Thistle and Accies are rivals to me, Airdrie a lesser extent not to forget the ugly sisters, QP though, nope. We don’t mention QP in any of our songs and never will. Lastly, everyone hates us so join the queue QP
  25. Would be a fair point but there’s plenty of non auld firm players involved. Just very surprised that someone of Leishmans stature and achievements has never been recognised, Dick Campbell being another one that should be in there.
