  1. Also got Craig Hepburn coming on the 15th... If you have any questions from a loan perspective let me know
  2. Hi folks, I've got Robbie McNab coming on the podcast at the end of the month. If you have any questions that you'd like to be asked could you let me know please. I've been bad for checking here but if you want to get me I'm Aaron Dougan on FB and I'll get them asked :)
  3. Sorry about the sound in the managers interview. We were in the wee room by the kitchen and with the bounce game being on there was a bit of working in the background. My microphone I use is knackered too but I'm hopefully getting a couple of Bluetooth clip on mics that should give us a bit of help
  4. Good effort from the team yesterday. Really put a shift in and limited EK. I don't think they had any real chances apart from their goals but losing Ewan ended our chances of causing them trouble. On Tuesday we are doing a podcast episode with the ambassadors for the CISS. If you have any questions that you'd like to be asked please let me know
  5. Morning folks, Just to let you know @NELLY 1 will be joining Mike on the coo shed on Wednesday for a pre league season episode. They'll be going over: the league cup campaign, the upcoming league campaign, the recent additions to the squad and of course the players that have left. Hoping to get a few supporter questions for the end so if you have anything you'd like asked, please let us know.
  6. Alright guys, Know it's a bit short notice but I'm having Connor Ferguson round today to record a short interview about his time as the social media manager at the club. Hopefully footballfirst stops frothing at the mouth so this isn't lost. But, if you have anything you'd like to ask him about his role please let me know. On the league cup and the 24k - is it possible to get it changed to pennies and film a short video of Donald Findlay swimming in it like Scrooge McDuck to maximise the seethe?
  7. I heard he is signing with Raith Rovers. I saw when he went on loan to QoTS in January that he was leaving in the summer. He will be wanting more playing time. Good move for him I reckon
  8. During the podcast yesterday, Nelly had mentioned that there was going to be news coming out about the trust in the next couple of weeks
  9. Bit of a strange move from Dumbarton's perspective. Surely they wouldn't want to invite a team that is looking to settle and attract a stable fanbase. Had a fair bit trouble keeping the pitch playable with Rangers B playing out there too.
  10. Shame to see Albion come down, though I am very much looking forward to getting back through to Coatbridge and Cliftonhill in the new season. It's a tough transition for league 2 teams coming down. As all teams that have come down have found. The lowland league definitely needs refining and it's mince playing against B teams. But, there is things to look forward to; getting a trip to Berwick a year, having an away day in new places like Bo'ness, Galashiels and Linlithgow. It's refreshing only playing teams twice. Embrace the challenge, it certainly hasn't been the death knoll of teams like us, Berwick and the Shire and there's no reason why it needs to be yours. There's still a place in Scottish football for "Diddys" like us!
  11. Hi guy, Just to let you know we will be doing a podcast episode with Colin and Calum Elliot at the end of the month as a preseason episode. If you have any questions you would like us to ask either Calum or Colin, please let us know.
  12. He certainly huffed and puffed and I think he would have benefitted from having Sinclair playing off him more. Guessing the manager has his eyes set on his own players so it's not a surprise to see this happening.
  13. The Shire announced that Dan Watt has signed for them. Quite liked him as a player certainly put himself about in the mould of Kris Renton. Good luck to him.
  14. Great start to the new era! Onwards and upwards! Mon the cowden
  15. Had a very good night last night. Thanks to all at the Junction for organising and hosting. Definitely feeling the pace today though
  16. Very happy with this news. Ambitious appointment by the board and from his initial interview is very hungry to succeed.
  17. Certainly is a hard job. I think there is scope for optimism with this supporters trust but I don't think it'll bring us back into L2, Worth a try though.
  18. Remember it being mentioned at the meeting that there may be news on the manager as early as the end of the week. It would be great to have it confirmed before Saturday and to end the league season on a high note. Hopefully the new man has had the chance to have a look over the squad during the appointment process and knows how he wants to make it work early.
  19. Third year on the bounce that mine has either fallen or thrown it's jockey. If I didn't have bad luck...
  20. If there was an advert for Jardine as manager, this was it. Completely nullified us across the pitch and took their chances when they came. Then when we pulled one back managed the last 5-10 minutes superbly. It was ugly but it was effective and that's why Civil Service sit where they are
  21. It was very good talking to Colin and definitely a time to be excited about. Very excited to get into this new season and see who the board can rustle up as manager
  22. Absolutely gutted to be missing this haha! Plymouth better give me a good show tomorrow!
  23. Thought we were the better team today. Definitely created enough but couldn't stick it in the net. Dan Farrell pulled off a great save after a slack back pass but that was their only real effort of note (not counting the effort flashed wide from the rebound from the save). McKenzie Williamson was certainly a spark when he came on and was unlucky not to score when he beat their keeper to a long ball. Certainly some good passages of play in the midfield and Dan Watt put himself about well without reward. Just feel that once it clicks the team it will roll on.
  24. Really surprised by that. I was thinking Maurice would have left but seen it out until the end of the season. He talked the right way and seemed to have a good idea of how we should play but it rarely translated on the pitch. Anytime we took a step forward it seemed to always be followed by a poor spell. Maybe a better coach than a main man? That been said I think the management team did well to steady the ship after a tumultuous pre season and should be commended for it but now is the time to get a manager in that knows the lowland league and can build on what's been set down now. Wish Maurice nothing but the best moving on and hopefully he takes something from his time here too. Really important appointment to be made now but perfect time to cool the jets and really think about it.
