I would explode with joy if we got Hiddink, utterly brilliant manager and literally a football genius. Obviously not possible, but laughable to see someone talk about him as if he's anything other than one of the very best managers the game has ever seen. Shows how little some people know.
Tbf I once read an Everton fan say he used to go to games an hour early just to watch Pat Nevin warm up. Apparently technically he was brilliant. A tanner ba player we used to call them.
No voter found. How about the fact he grew up here, and has lived here 95% of his life, and this country helped him become the player and person he is, and all his friends are from here etc etc etc.
Your definition of success for a country of 3 million is very unrealistic. What you typed is a success story. Losing to a country of 72 million isn't failure.
I have deep disrespect for players that do stuff like that too, like Dembele and Harry Souttar. This is a guy who has lived in Scotland since he was one FFS.
Get him capped against San Marino. Not even joking, at that age I doubt he'd turn down a call up to a.senior squad, and nothing to lose giving him five minutes off the bench.
It's more.cause he is an ex footballer who can actually speak etc, not a total moron. But obviously just as much part of the old boys club as the rest.
A game of golf. Start out with such high hopes, then feel like jumping off a bridge after about 8 holes. By the end resolve reluctantly to carry on but never golf again. Go back out tomorrow.
Just out of interest who do you think said this?
'If it really happens (Pep going to Man City) then in comes perhaps the best coach in the world.'
Jurgen Klopp
What about this, given someone up there said he isn't good at countering the opposition
''Tactically he is maybe the best. And I don't say that just because he is our coach at the moment."
Arjen Robben
Can you show one manager in history who doesn't/didn't have the same problems? Football at the top level is quite.hard you know, it's not fifa on the Xbox.
