Happy with that. Sounds like a good replacement for Spark, I had my doubts about him at the start of the season but he has steadily improved as the season has went on.

We really are badly lacking in that. 7 draws this season. At least half of which should have been wins. Only 4 league wins this season. Unbelievably frustrating. Like banging your head against a brick wall.

Another big game tonight. If we can take something from our game in hand we are back in the mix.

Aye thought the same about the defence. I really rate McDonald but he seems to take some crazy risks when playing from the back. You would think that Darryl being the club captain must be pushing for a chance sometime soon?

Unfortunately it looks that way.

Aye he should have been there but when he did drop deep he got a lot of success running with the ball. Could have easily changed it to get more help up there. Mabye he did hold onto the ball too long at times but he was at least trying to create. Disappointing performance all round though.

Absolute sickener that today. We have a habit of getting back into a good position then being well below par in the next game to build on it. Very frustrating. I wonder if it will ever change?

A draw would have probably been a fair result I would have said. Stirling went in with a well deserved lead and Elgin were probably a bit better the 2nd half, without being very great. Soapy should have won it with 5 minutes to go when he hit the post when it was easier to score then Stirling snatched it at the death. That's football though. Thought the ref had an absolute shocker for both teams. Shane Sutherland was outstanding from a deep position in the 2nd half but I felt Gavin Price should have put someone else upfront alongside Hester because he was very isolated with Shane playing so far back.

I would mabye argue that the 3 without a win won't have done our confidence any harm. Good point at Edinburgh City. Very solid performance at a good Raith team and last week I felt we more than matched championship Alloa. Didn't really get any breaks. But Saturday is a big game to try and get us back to winning again. Confident we will. 3-1 Elgin

Was really happy with the way we played last night. Never got the rub of the green from the ref, but I thought some of the football we played against a good team was very impressive. Scored 2 good goals and created a few more chances. And as for Shane Sutherland in that deeper role, I thought he was outstanding. Completely controlled the game for 30 minutes until the red card. Really looking forward to Alloa at BB next Saturday and the rest of the season.

Gavin Price and Shane Sutherland named league 2 manager and player of the month. Great achievement and just shows how well we are doing at the moment. Hopefully we can continue that In Edinburgh on Saturday and we will be right back in the mix.

Delighted with that today. Elgin were unplayable in spells. Omar's brilliant 4th goal sealed a very impressive display from him and the team in poor conditions.

Looking forward to the game. Always a battle of attrition against Annan especially at BB. Hopefully we can keep our good run going.

Delighted with the momentum we are starting to build. Hopefully the start of the seasons results are well in the past now. Time to start climbing the league now.

Raith Rovers away. Not the favourite but I think Elgin will take a very healthy away support to that game. Bring them on

Who do we want in Wednesdays draw? Would love another go at Caley in Inverness. Given our cup away record this season there would be nothing to fear.

Well done boys. Another brilliant result away from home in cup competitions. Hopefully the corner is well and truly turned now after a great fortnight. Delighted

Wouldn't be surprised if our top players were on that. I know most of our players are on £250ish a week. I think only the younger ones would be on under £100. Adds up to quite a hefty outlay on wages alone.

Great result today. Hopefully we can go on a run now and put the poor start to the league behind us.

Have heard figures upwards of £500 per week mentioned for some players in the league.

I think it is vital that at the very minimum they get someone to control the club's social media outlets during matches that is at the match and provide live updates of the action. The website being so far behind is not great at all and surely wouldn't take too much work to update a few upto date photos. The highlights is a miss but the fact that Louise Shaw has moved on to Rangers now it is understandable that no-one else has taken that on as yet.

The in game updates only really happen when Shane scores. No co-insidence I don't think that his girlfriend is in control of the official social media pages. I don't think she is actually at the games, that is probably the reason for the lack of updates. Surely somebody who does attend could take over that duties on match days though? It is a big thing for people who now live away from Elgin or are away on holiday etc and can't be at the game.
