Cunningham always seemed to get injured when he was coming into some form. E.g. he was brilliant at Dunfermline in Duffy's first game and injured after two minutes of his second. Definitely one of the better players we have signed since promotion, but never as good as he could have been.

Signing for Kelty, given their tight pitch, is strange. Very much needs space to run into.

I'm not overly against having Duffy as Director of Football, as long as he's no longer directing our football. Having a footballing link (and an experienced one at that) between the board and playing staff can't be a bad thing. I don't enjoy his football but he's not an offensive or irritating person.

The extract from website clearly states that Duffy will be in charge of all footballing operations. To me this is manager without the title. The fact the board have now changed the wording to just "head coach" should highlight that JD will still be in charge of the football on the pitch.

  2. Big part of our clubs demise is the failed ownership model. Generates little income (next to none that can make a difference) and has no potential for further investment. As stated above, the club should be offered out to anyone who might be remotely interested. "Owners" need to realise that this model is what is holding us back.

Whatever happens tonight we need things sorted ASAP. Being involved in the playoffs already means we are a couple of weeks behind most clubs in terms of contracts and recruitment. Duffy is notoriously bad for last minute shopping too, I’m talking 7 signed players on the eve of the league cup campaign type situation.

If we are planning to replace him I hope something is lined up to happen immediately (but I doubt it).

Sneaky feeling the swift rumours are true. But since he's came in the ship has steadied (albeit still poorly) and the rot stopped, just too little too late unfortunately. If he was given job permanately would be happy enough to see what he can do.

Annan’s tactics tomorrow will be frustrating to say the least, but I’d be wanting us to do the exact same if the roles were reversed. It’s not their fault we’re in this mess - can’t blame them for taking full advantage.

I agree broadly about the admission price tomorrow, especially given we’re going into the game pretty much dead and buried but I think we’ve got more to worry about than the price Hamilton Accies charge for pies.

Pie price was just a general point that really just pisses me off. absoute cheek for the state of it.

  5. Fully bellieve we will be getting relegated tomorrow night. Expect (as many have said above) a full repeat of the first final 4 years ago, but worse. 90 minutes of anti-football, time wasting and faking injuries so they can go up. I mean if it gets the job done...

Also the board trying to attract more fans to this game to support the team, 2 things,

    1) Being a 25 min drive away in Hamilton for a home game, has been all season, a pain in the arse.

    2) £17 for a game that will seal what direction our club heads in for the next few years is a complete an utter joke. Should be blanket £10 a skull to get as many in as possible. Ripping off the fans again. Also don't bother buying a pie at the stadium, had a heart attack last week when the girl asked for £4 (four great British pounds) for a pie?! Club is full of penny pinching robbing bstards.

    f**k Annan. The bully wee.

  6. That was absolutely dreadful. We really should have been relegated by 9.30PM.

The players lack confidence and have done all season it is so clear to see. Tactics all wrong from JD who decided it was best we go defence and hold onto slim lead whilst hoofing endless long balls up the park to no one. (Danny Lennon flashbacks).

game was heading for penalties as we couldn’t finish any chances we created even if they were on a plate.

chuffed and surprised to come out alive, but we need to regroup and go again against (likely) Annan next week.
