Third Division 23/24
Spyro replied to Craig fae the Vale's topic in West of Scotland Football League
You are determined that Bellshill are in trouble! Tbf they've been amazing over the last few seasons getting things sorted and it has started to show on the park now. Their socal media has been one of the best recently too, I think you have just read into this a little bit too much. It's tier 7, having an experienced person around the team to help the coaches isn't anything for anyone at the club to be ashamed of -
Someone is working through their full repertoire of logins here!

Annunen signs a 1 way, 2 year deal. It's only 833k but they seem to be commiting to him. Hopefully he shines if Georgeiv needs him, I love an underdog story and still have a soft spot for the Avs even though I hate that they are so good! Doan Jnr turning out ok for the Coyotes too. I'm not jumping on the hype train but it's been amazing to watch so far

I can't see past Alonso going to Mercedes next season. If it was anyone else involved in Russell's accident, he would have been claiming attempted murder but never really said a bad word about Alonso's 'maneuver'

Fair enough, solid answer! I didn't realise the ownership issue so I can understand not putting the type of money into ripping the base out and doing it properly. It will be money well spent rather than maintaining the current pitch, but not when you can be POTENTIALLY be turfed out if anything changes with ownership

Maybe an investment on the actually pitch surface before filling the squad with overpaid haddies might have been a better start?

I actually completely forgot about the noisey ones from along the road! They are all in the LL forum so I might get away with mentioning 'natural order' and Burgh being a 'bigger' club but It needs someone with the time, ability and unrivalled commitment because there is hardly any money to be made for the majority of local reporters. It's a labour of love rather than a career now which is quite shit for the talented ones -

Helps when you are the ‘big team’ in East Lothian though I honestly feel sorry for local journalists, it’s a thankless job and the market has completely imploded on them with these websites that just sweep up and plagiarise their work while creaming in ad money -

There was a really good Facebook page that was doing round ups of West Lothian football, mostly amateurs though. Doon the park or something, haven't seen it for a while but I'm hardly on there now -
Don't think Talbot have to play any AWAY games as far as 100+ miles away though

Dalbeattie will scrape a draw with Talbot and win the shootout, then also do Broxburn away on pens. Talbot then spunk it at home to Broxburn 2-1 with a dodgy last min goal ...and I believe Dalbeattie would go up on the head-to-head(?) EDIT - I know it goes to goal difference, the last line is a poor attempt at humour

Yes we know Franko

At least they are making an effort

That's nice of them. Will Knightswood have a team too? Wonder if they just chuck games rather than calling up a few of the young team to fulfil their fixtures

Click where it says 'follow' at the bottom and you'll get notifications, then change your settings so you get an alert if anyone posts. It's just pished it down here for a while

I totally agree, but were Mosley, Bernie and Whiteing any less corrupt? I'm an old school fan, but there were so many dodgy decisions and moments in the 80's and 90's that would cause twitter to meltdown and a million court appearances. Sienna's penalty, then non-penalty the year after Schumacher being allowed to take a drive through penalty after the finish line All the nonsense around spygate and crashgate I prefer not to get hung up on the politics and just enjoy the absolute carnage! It's all wrong but I try not to look that way

It seems to be a good idea, but about 3 steps out of sequence. There are a few other things that should've been in place to make it work better. I don't want to discourage the change as I agree having them under the SAFA is a good step, but you are right about it creating another barrier between the leagues. It will be interesting to see how things settle down once the link up with the WoS happens. I still have a lot of questions there
