Morton general manager, Dale Pryde-MacDonald, says in the Greenock Telegraph today, "We should have communicated about a fortnight ago, as to what the capacity was going to be on Friday." "That probably is going to be what the capacity is going to be when there's a live TV game here" So, it looks like a capacity of less than 7,000, for the game against Heart of Midlothian.

A thoroughly deserved Morton win. Great for the club. Will take Morton verses anyone at Cappielow, in the next round.
-
Depressingly predictable result and performance.

Caley Thistle vs Hoppy's Leaky Goal Machine

Morton 'defending', shouldn't be on TV, before 9pm. Defensive problems, have been obvious since the start of the season, and David Hopkin, really has to get it sorted out. -
Morton vs Partick Thistle - A Proper Thread

Palpitations from the defence during the first half, and an inability to take the chances created. Defensively less terrible after the break. Third was no surprise as Partick capitulated. Certainly no dull games watching the Ton this season. -
Greenock Morton vs Dundee United

We would be going into this, with a chance of a top 4 finish, if we hadn't gifted Alloa 9 points. However, the one positive, is that those points we gave Alloa, mean that Falkirk look like landing in the seaside leagues next season. -
Need to win. Absolutely. Must. Not. Lose.

Morton v. Alloa, Tues. 9th April

Well, after tonight I'm not sure what the collective noun for the three ex Morton managers we could be facing in league 1 next season, in the form of McKinnon, Duffy and McInally is. -
Lowest scorers 'nil', against the worst defence. The one crumb, is that it wasn't even worse. Immediate improvement , or it will be Airdrie, Montrose and Peterhead next season.

Since JJ became manager,we have only scored more than one goal in any game, against Partick (twice), Queens and Peterhead. Hopefully a good omen for Saturday.
