  1. One minute you're sitting in the boardroom thinking, "Ah Raith got all that bad press, but I'm SURE nothing like that will happen to us! We'll fly right under the radar. Let's get him back, he'll score loads of goals." Then the next minute you've got your local council saying you've to choose between your stadium and your rapist. Welcome back to reality, Clyde FC!
  2. Edinburgh City, Bonnyrigg Rose, Annan, and Stirling Albion are the four favourites I'll be chucking on the coupon today Two ties I'm most interested in are Brora vs Albion and Stranraer vs Darvel Hoping for a good day of cup action!
  3. I'm not 100% sure of the specifics and am happy to be corrected, but as I understand it the Coatbridge Boys tweeted from their account (which has now been set to private) and confirmed that the person was one of their members and they had now removed him from the group. What I've seen on social media suggests that they haven't given the name of the offender to the club however, and they would presumably be looking to take action against them. Seems as though this ban is just a means of encouraging the group to identify the man who abused Nathan Austin
  4. Quick question for the Peterhead fans. Do the club ever put out highlights packages for the games? Been looking online after home games this season but the social media engagement seems pretty low
  5. John Henderson is quite probably the nicest man in professional darts. Absolutely delighted for him, and for Peter Wright as well. Hopefully both players can kick on and have strong seasons from here
  6. highlights of yesterday's match vs Cowdenbeath
  7. Beni and Woodburn really impressive for Hearts I thought. Had my doubts as to how well this side would do this season, but they seem to have recruited very smartly and have started the season well. Would expect them to easily get into top 6, just a question of how high up that top 6 they can go
  8. The usual streaming services were awful slow today, like due to increased traffic caused by Manchester United signing some old Portuguese fella. Seen bits of this live but catching up on Sportscene. Jota looks very lively. Not scared to take on a man and a lot of off the ball movement to try to pick up space. Looks a nightmare to mark. Could be a long few weeks for Celtic without Kyogo. Although those goals today might do Ajeti's confidence some good. He's a player I rate, but I'm not sure his style lends itself to success in the Ange style of play as Kyogo's does.
  9. Horrible to see a lad with as much talent as Lewis have his career plagued by injury. Wish him all the best, some tough decisions ahead for the lad maybe
  10. Morton sign Newcastle United defender Oisin McEntee on a season long loan
  11. Ryan Stevenson leaves Rovers by mutual consent
  12. Thoughts on Robinson to Killie, Livi fans? From the outside looking in, he looked a really influential player at points last season. General reaction of the fanbase online suggests people aren't all that fussed though I know by all accounts the writing has been on the wall around him leaving for a while, but I'm really surprised to see him drop down a division
  13. Bitterly disappointed that this vote has passed tonight. It shouldn't be possible to just buy a place partway up the pyramid like this. I worry that this is another foot in the door, after the introduction of colts in the Challenge Cup, and will make the possibility of Colts in the SPFL more likely in the near future. The SPFL was a closed shop for so long, and while the pyramid system is not perfect, the prospect of ambitious clubs moving up into the senior leagues has made the Scottish game so much more exciting for me in these past few years. To slow that down, or ruin it all together, with this self serving nonsense from the Old Firm, is a tough pill to swallow. The best prospects from Celtic and Rangers are usually wanted at a higher level than the LL, and would surely stay that way for the sake of their development. Ewan Otoo for example, has not looked out of place in League One. I wouldn't expect him to be dropping two divisions, and it would be surely detrimental to his development to ask him to do so. If that's the case, and the integrity of the pyramid has been ruined so that Celtic and Rangers can send out their 2nd or 3rd string jobbers, I struggle to see how this move will be great for development, as some have said, as any bright prospects in these team's youth academies are playing at a higher level already, and a season of playing against Berwick Rangers and Gretna 2008 isn't going to help.
