Comparisons wit h previous managers are a bit unfair - they - mostly - had a good track record (TH, AM etc) and had earned a degree of loyalty that MM showed - BF has no such record. He left a trail of destruction at Clyde - judging by posts on here - and had a huge budget at Kelty. He has failed here. It is traditional for Alloa managers to resign after losing to Dumbarton - be better if he did it before.

Vacancy at Aberdeen - Im sure Barry could get them relegated.

I think we (Alloa) will survive - down to the strength of the squad - especially those players from previous regimes. The main danger comes from the manager. My glass is half full for the moment

Always seems a bit unfair on Sammon -Im not his biggest fan - but being brought on for last 10 minutes when a couple of goals down isnt ideal - and he does frighten defenders - he could be used in a better way
