  1. Give me a Clyde top and I’ll do that. You don’t want me playing up front though, nor anywhere else. In fact, the only time I have “played for Clyde” was in a fans game, in goals, where I conceded 9 goals after 60 minutes before substituting myself off.

  3. That’s surely the most difficult thing in all of sport to achieve?
  4. It’s been a catastrophe of a season and whilst I still think we are in the tie, it’s really getting desperate now. Annan didn’t impress me given the pre match hype so I’ll look on on Friday with hope but we really need to take the game to them.
  5. Another ominous air raid over the country over the last hour or so. Whole country affected, although Kharkiv, where one of my friends has stayed, sent me a video of her moving her sleeping bag into the hall way. Hopefully she’s just sleeping but Kharkiv in particularly isn’t exactly something the Russians doesn’t like to target. In a video she sent, she heard the windows shaking. This was at 10.18pm our time. Haven’t heard anything since.
  6. Couple of blasts on the Lviv region, Striyy being one of them.
  7. I miscalculated. Send me to the doldrums.
  8. Selby could win it in two sessions. He’s better equipped to deal with Luca’s comebacks.
  9. Disagree. They have the experience to tame him sadly.
  10. Allen and Selby must be licking their lips. Either of them will tear Si or Luca apart.
  11. There is hope for us all. This has been a diabolical standard.
  12. Just look at my post on the last page. I joined this forum in 2005, aged 15. I’ve met more people from here than I care to admit, from all angles and opportunities (from just a pint before a game in Scotland, to crashing on his couch in western Ukraine). My inbox always open as well. As much as P&B is famous for it’s piss taking, not serious approach, this thread is very much the real deal, and probably the best thread on this whole forum.
  13. I don’t necessarily disagree with that, it’s the “he played like he didn’t care what happend” that infuriated me. Why the f**k would anyone take part in the Q school if they didn’t have any aspersions to go pro? For a professional to accuse an opponent like that, if it was me, I’d have outed him in public the fat p***k.
  14. Yeah, firmly in the Si camp here. Murphy comes across as an absolute w****r and for the same man to stuff him out the World Championship in the first round as he did as an amateur in the UK would simply be hilarious.
  15. Am I going mad or should this have won?
  16. Can someone tell Joe Perry to take the microphone out of his mouth please?
  17. As someone who grew up in Cumbernauld when Clyde moved in, there was very little engagement with the local youth. The £5 season ticket was a good idea, but absolutely no one knew about it. For us to grow any sort of fan base at Crownpoint, that has to be priority imo. Then again, losing every week, we could leave the gates open and no one would walk in. It’ll always come down to that.
  18. Saw a pic of the home support five minutes from kick off. There couldn’t have been more than 200 there. We’d be as well begging to go back to Broadwood.
  19. Always though they were just for the decent players, I’m shite
  20. Went to the doctors on Thursday, first time I took the step for professional advice. Laid everything on the table and I’ve been prescribed Mirtazapine, and got a line for work. It’s been built up since last year really, work a year ago until Christmas was utterly demoralising. I can’t say much but thinking back, I'm amazed I got through it. Since Christmas though personally, it’s went downhill. I’ve alluded to it above, but there’s other stuff as well. I’ve told my closest friends, and they’ve rallied, and now I’ve had professional help, I know at least I can focus on the future. The meds has gave me a couple of cracking nights sleep, even if I wake up with a hangover feeling. Doc did say that was a possible side effect. It’s cliche, but I do feel like a weight has been lifted. Now all I need to do is tell my family, which I’ll do on Monday. I’m worried, not for what they’ll say, but just me saying it in the first place.
  21. Firstly thanks to everyone who replied. Sorry for not responding sooner. Things I like most - snooker, pool, table tennis, running, poker. Varied I know RE to get involved. I’ll see what I can find. Thanks for the suggestions. Given the current situation, maybe I can improve my Ukrainian. Thanks for the tip. I have Marfan syndrome, so going to the gym will have zero affect on me physically. Although the mental affect will be good, certainly. Thanks again. Only been to Dundee a couple of times but enjoyed it. I’ll give you a message when I’m next in and have time for a beer.
