Anyone else got a slight concern at lack of signings especially after todays strip launch? Maybe just worried about nothing……

not even hit our first pre season game. I would be more worried if teams around us were signing players of real quality, also need to remember we’re now at a squad of about 20? and tbh i cant see any way we’d be able to shift the dross we already have

I know it means f**k all really but does it bug anyone else how slack the social media output is.

Feels like just about every second tweet has some basic error.

thought that there aswell. has to be some sort of proof reading into them

We agreed with the club the prices that we thought made it affordable for people to attend however if you are struggling and want to attend then get in touch [email protected] and we can see if there’s anything we can do to help.

I really fail to get those who won’t attend for other reasons. Completely miss the point of what this is about.

I think if you see it as nothing more than a friendly and not an appreciation of the greatest to ever wear the navy blue you need to give yourself a shake

McCann reminds me a bit of Tommy Robson- popular with fans but fundamentally just not good enough defensively.

Personally I’d look to move him on- we’re not exactly overloaded with players who will attract interest so it would make sense to free up wages to me.

Disagree, what he lacks in height he makes up for in getting stuck in. Was our only defender willing to put a foot in last season. And btw for a smaller boy he won a fair few headers and didnt get exploited as much as some made out

Not impressed with any of our signings - have we learned nothing - If you cannot get decent players at least sign big strong athletes.

Gary Oliver, no idea who he is, but a striker who hasn't scored more than 10 in a season - He'll be 27  at the start of the season - he's just managed that amount of career goals!

McGinn is a risk, hunners of clubs, lots of mutual consents, had a bad injury in the past - could be well past it.

    Mackie = crock

Not sure if best asking here or on the Scotland threads, but looking for somewhere to watch the game tonight in the Falkirk / Camelon vicinity.
Any recommendations for decent boozers would be appreciated, cheers.

    Mill Inn, you’re welcome

Possibly the best we can realistically hope for is two players on season long loans where we pay 50% of their wages. Two out on those terms might allow one to come in.

Brad McKay would have to be one of them though…….and sadly, we would have to do that two years running.

Probably, would have be a team in desperation though. We will surely be his last full time club

I'm not saying for a minute Benedictus is the be all and end all but he's surely better than Brad  McKay. Plus if he does sign we will have Henderson, Donaldson, Watson(long term injury) as centre back options aswell as the aforementioned McKay unless we can punt him.

We would have to pay someone to take Brad McKay. Absolutely gantin
