Welshbairn I read somewhere Blacksmiths is no more. It was a decent enough bar I was in it a few times in the early 2000s but not a patch on the Stratton back in the day. It's also long gone sadly. Smithton Hotel is still close enough and there is or was a bus stop up by the shops.

Great to see this a fair piece of work ! I had just moved back to Inverness in '79 from living in Sutherland when Keith, from recall were flying high during the late seventies. Unlike the top tier of the pyramid there's been a fair few changing of the guards since then.
