  1. I really think Ayr will beat Alloa and beat them well sadly I don’t believe that will matter.

Im guessing Ross County get the trophy next week? If so I hope they feel sorry for us and don’t play well because surely it’s bad taste to celebrate on the ground of a team who got relegated and all those jobs cuts that will come?

From a players point of view do they want relegation on your CV? 90% of them will be playing in the sea side leagues as they get a game elsewhere. Hopefully not with Falkirk though. Could look at it another way that only 4 players are under contact so when the loan expires they couldn’t care less.

The manager you could sack him and try something different last game or wait and see if by some miracle he wins and the club stay up he was then given the chance to keep the club up.

Finally I expected Rudden to be loaned out to a Premiership side regardless of what division Falkirk are in next season.

    Division 1 attendances today.

    Stranraer v Brechin -  374

    Dumbarton v East Fife - 659

    Stenhousemuir v Forfar - 577

    Montrose v Airdrie - 738

    God help us!!!!

I think the away stand will close all season to be honest.

Could even just be main stand open if that’s the case goes back go the days before the other two stands were built.

  3. Absolutely shambolic.

Its been said already signings who couldn’t care less about the club.

I can’t believe how poor Falkirk have been even Raith Rovers managed 9th when they got relegated.

Its a long way back if Raith don’t get promoted they will be favourites. If someone like Partick goes down in 9th it will make that division even more difficult.

With the current manager and current vision I’m afraid I don’t see the club bouncing back. As for last two games no chance of any points even if we beat United I wouldn’t be surprised if county win and we still go down.

Once the season ends get Ray out and get Hopkin in. If that fails get Houston back.

There are endless permutations of the sky falling in If we are relegated. The buy out is probably the only way of bringing it to any sort of recognisable end. Certainly, ML and CC’s tenure of decision making needs to be swiftly terminated, but what confidence is there that it’ll go that way?

We are on the crest of a slump right now, and how or if it will be brought to a halt is anyone’s guess.......particularly when those responsible don’t recognise themselves as being part of the problem. There will probably be one more go at spinning the story to paint relegation as a gilt edged opportunity.

The academy has to come back. They have to sign some decent players too. The quality of player has dropped from finishing 2nd to possibly finishing bottom. We should be buying up the best players from Alloa, Morton, Queens ect. If by some miracle we stay up If Dundee go down they will be big favourites to go back up at first time of asking so playoffs is best hope.

  5. So a decade after relegation 2009 same could happen again.  A whole generation who have never seen Falkirk as a Premiership club potentially having to suffer being in the same Leauge as Stenny (if they stay up) I fear the club could go the way of Airdie and Clyde and never recover. I imagine attendances would fall.

    Agreed.... until your last sentence.

I think Ray's a decent manager who's picked up some reasonable players and did extremely well in getting results previously with some dismal players, courtesy of Mr Hartley.

    However, it's not enough.

There are nine other teams in this league. If you look at our last results against each of them, we've beaten only one. Ayr Utd. That's relegation form no matter how you dress it up.

We're picking up an average of a point a game and a goal a game. Again, that's not enough. Not when you're joint bottom of the league and clubs like Alloa and Partick are winning games.

The safety first approach has failed. Our only chance of survival is to throw it out the window. Try something else. Play Rudden & Jarvis up front together,  or drop one of our two holding midfielders in AO and PP and try SL for creativity , or put Robson in to give us some width. I don't know.

I just know it needs to change. Because the league table tells us the current approach isn't working.

I fear he may settle for draws in the hope of avoiding 10th by a point. Perhaps he is hoping Alloa won’t win all there matches

  7. The team finished 2nd in a league with Rangers and Hibs and Hearts and this team cant beat a part time team like Alloa.  Two seasons of absolute shambles. You have to strengthen when you are on top clearly the club never done this it wasn’t Houston’s fault or Hartley. It was poor recruitment. Is it a surprise we are where we are? No becuase no decent players would come to a team on bottom.

Its an unusual league this year as for the past few years there has always been a small club finishing bottom. In Leauge one is promotion certain? Seems not as Raith rovers couldn’t do it.

If say Partick went down in the playoffs I fear it could be more than one season in Leauge one!

I'm not sure how you've reached that conclusion. Haskins and Cardle aside, they've signed no one of quality. Hazard is a bombscare of a goalkeeper.

Just in the basis I believe they are under performing and only needed one or two signings. Not saying they are great though as I believe they have a poor manager.

I'm torn.  The team is much better than a few weeks ago with some good signings by Rae.  But with14 games to go every point dropped could be the one that takes us down.  Wee Rudden has given us a lifeline to be in the position we are in now, but we need more.  Shoring up the defence further might help us get a few more draws rather than defeats but relying on  the wee lad to keep us up is asking for trouble.  I've got a horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach that we're not going to make it.

So if we don’t make it should Ray Mckinnon stay and rebuild or go?

Scott McDonald would have been ideal back in October if we had managed to talk him round.

Yes he would have been ideal. For me it looks like Partick have done the better business. For me it feels another Hartley transfer window a full new team of below average players.

Slightly worrying interview with Ray that he’s looking for a Centre half and a striker. A back four of Dixon - McGhee - Mckenna - RB would be better than McGhee outwide.

Also mentioned that a premiership striker rejected a move to us due to our position. A deal was agreed with the clubs.

Well who would want to come to a club heading for league one had we been in the top 4 playoffs who knows.

  12. Bottom again absolutely shocking full new team and still can’t win.

A lack of experienced players in this league and a goal scorer is the issue. At the moment I’m afraid to say the club will be relegated and it’s a long way back look again Raith.

Oh and what’s happened to One F in Falkirk?
