Is that what the BtB information is? Let’s not be cryptic here, this isn’t on the same level as some of the ITK bollocks about signing players for our campaign in a pub league. The future of our club is at stake here. If that’s the information that’s been presented to the MSG/Board and can be backed up with evidence then get this guy to f**k. Simple as.

I hear what you’re saying but I disagree that the MSG are the ones who need to say something. Reason being, there’s barely a fan out there who would trust a thing these wankers have to say. Any credibility they once had is now gone. If they told me it was pissing down outside, I’m checking out the fucking window. Kenny/BtB are well thought of amongst the support and are generally trusted by the wider fan base as having the best intentions of the Club at heart. I’d rather hear from them sooner rather than later regardless of whether their opinion of Campbell is good or bad. At a time when there’s not many trustworthy individuals out there, they need to be saying something to either back up or quash these rumours. Anyone who thinks negative feedback from BtB is merely sour grapes needs their heads checked and wouldn’t be worth bothering about. Similarly, if they come out and publicly back Campbell and it turns out badly, nobody can lay that blame at the door of BtB. They aren’t carrying out the DD after all.

Without trying to sound like I’m being impatient with or having a go at Kenny J or those involved in the BtB bid, but I think I’m right in saying Kenny and Keith G both met Mark Campbell on Monday morning at around 9.30am. It would be good if Kenny could issue some sort of statement regarding how he felt that meeting went. I’m sure Kenny knows that many fans are sceptical and hold the opinions of the BtB’s guys in high regard. With that in mind, why the silence? If they found Campbell to be open and honest enough, tell us so many of our fears can be alleviated. Similarly, if they have doubts over Campbell’s credentials and find him a bit of a chancer, let’s not keep it secret. Speak up and tell us either way.

What’s that concern based on? Is it something that you’ve heard that’s not been communicated to the wider fan base yet, or just because we don’t know the guy?

I don’t think they’d care how vocal the fans were. They know the majority want them gone, but they’re still here. They’ll sit smugly in their prime seats while chuckling amongst themselves that we’re all still paying our way. I still maintain that the only way to oust these b*****ds is to give them f**k all. That won’t be this season due to the ST sales but PATG punters can still make a difference as can ST renewal time next season.

Hardly unthinkable is it? Perhaps Morton were enquiring about his availability this season. I’m guessing he’s just heard that yet another player on loan at Morton last season is making his way to The Fawkurk Stadium. Turns out he was right though as Bainsford has all but confirmed.

Whats your source that we are entertaining bringing him in? Morton fan at work who tends to know everything and anything about their dealings. Told me this morning he was due to sign today. Also know a good friend of young Robbie who was delighted to tell him he’d signed with us. No link here to any of the arseholes in the boardroom I’m afraid, but that’s not disputing they can’t keep their fat traps shut.

I’ve only watched him live when he played against us for Morton, but I work with 2 Morton fans (80% of their home gates) who saw almost all of his appearances for them. They think it’s hilarious that we’re even entertaining bringing him in.
