A colleague of mine rants about that flag. It's infamous! -
Airdrie v Hamilton Playoff Final 1st leg

He might be...special, handicapped. I'm not sure what the appropriate word is anymore, but if someone has to look after him and wanted to go the game, then they might have brought something along to occupy him. -
Airdrie v Hamilton Playoff Final 1st leg

Yasss! I was at Airdrie's play-off final last season, and I thought it was very harsh on them. -
It's very sad that there are, allegedly, 6,000 Celtic season ticket holders in Coatbridge. I like Albion Rovers, I go to watch them frequently. But the reality is the people of Coatbridge don't usually turn out in numbers to watch them. I would have been there today, if I could have got a ticket, btw. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that would be a problem. I will go and watch them next season at some point, but overall I think the Lowland League is tin pot, given the reserve sides.

Airdrie v Hamilton Playoff Final 1st leg

Surprised how small the Accies support is tonight. I'm guessing that's because of what the Chairman has said, or it's live on TV or folk have had enough this season, or all three? 'mon the Airdrie! -
I'm all for the Conference, but with the following conditions: 1) There is no promotion or relegation from it. 2) It is not integrated into the pyramid 3) It's renamed the SPL Reserve League Anyway, I'm disappointed not to have got a ticket for this game. I would never heave dreamed that it would sell out in 8 minutes, in fact I wasn't sure it would sell out at all. It does demonstrate that there is a lot of interest in this play-off fixture, and I would suggest that's ultimately down to the implications of the 'trap door'. I really hope Albion Rovers win this tie.

The Big Queen's Park FC Thread

No news about Lesser? Or any announcements on where the team will play should they win their next game? Massive fixture tomorrow, really hope QP do it, but I'm not hopeful given recent form. Still, Dundee not on top of their game, either. The fact that QP must win it should make it quite a spectacle. Lots of scope for players on both teams to make a name for themselves, too. -
I was wondering what that stood for. Well done. They're basically just imitating the infamous Chelsea Headhunters.

Well the last game of the season couldn't be set up better - in terms of the encounter being a decider, I'm not talking about the venue or ticket allocation. I would have loved to have gone to this game. Anyway, both teams can determine their fate. I don't think this will produce a classic encounter, though one team will not be able to settle for a draw, so you never know. 'mon eh Queen's!

What a great result! I didn't even consider Dundee would drop points at home to Cove. Yaaaaassss!

I think everybody has basically suggested that those women would be a lot safer if the men they lived with received the appropriate treatment. Incidents like this could perhaps be avoided.

That's genuinely fascinating to read a personal insight into this man's life. I've known a couple of people who've committed suicide. One lady got out of her car and jumped off a bridge on the way to work. A guy I knew hanged himself in his garage. The surprising thing about both is it was totally unexpected. Obviously this is far worse, as he's not only taken his own life, but that of his partner and unborn child. As @IrishBhoy and @TxRover have suggested, he must have had poor mental health; indeed that's an understatement. I cannot imagine the devastation he has caused to his family, his partner's family and their friends. He will forever be remembered 'as that guy who killed his pregnant wife.' Apologies if that seems insensitive, but it's true. I think this sort of incident is why the stigma surrounding mental health has to end. If people could seek treatment without feeling shame or embarrassment, then this sort of tragic event would likely be averted. Though, speaking from experience, I know the mental health system is grossly underfunded and it can takes months to see a professional, but that's a whole other issue. Tragic.

It also makes the last five fixtures 'six pointers', which is especially important as it's so close at the bottom.
