  1. Ok, here is a point with no sarcasm in it and appealing to basic decency. Would it not have been better to say, no Scottish club will be disadvantaged by the lockdown therefore have a reconstruction which was to everyone’s benefit ? Surely no one can disagree with this point But... they did, all these Chairmen of all these clubs voted against it and look at what we have now... Court action, millions of pounds being spent on lawyers which could have berm spent on the game. its beyond me to think that anyone would disagree with this
  2. That’s what I think . In my opinion Raith Rovers made a big mistake not supporting the reconstruction and might now lay a high price. To the guy who said to me don’t worry about it, there is now a precedent been set in France and Belgium and I think that will carry weight on the decision. Plus there is a lot of funding behind Hearts and Partick, this one isn’t going away. I would be worried if I was a Raith fan, I want all Fife clubs to do well and see football developing in the Kingdom.
  3. Lads, I’ve just come into your sight, I’m not a Raith supporter but I’m a fife man and I’m really concerned that Raith either get denied promotion or have to find the funds to fight a legal case. I think this isn’t good news
  4. Something to play for ????? what has Brechin City, Forfar Athletic, Stenhousemuir, Albion Rovers done in the last 10 years. ? They are a waste of space Move over and let Kelty, Brora, East Kilbride, Auchinleck in and set the league alight look what’s happened with Cove This is the problem, the teams with neither imagination or ambition are content to sit where they ate doing nothing each year and why do they do nothing ? Because they are run by mindsets like some of these who are posting comments on this site Very limited to say the least Now I need to go and have a good laugh at Raith Rovers about to be denied promotion, serves them right for voting against Kelty with the reconstruction
  5. Gordon EF, I take it EF stands for Eeejit Features ! Thats how it works. Clubs build good sides, progress through the league they are in and move up. Are you new to football that you don’t understand that ? Also, despite the fact that Kelty’s success obviously gets up your nose, get used to it son, with Kelty Hearts the only way is up, you’ll never be able to swallow it but that’s how it is.
  6. Yes and I saw every one of them and do you know how I saw every one of them ? because I paid to get in ! I’m a true Kelty Hearts supporter
  7. Re Jack Burtons post, the point I’m making is that you can hardly say the lower divisions are full of excitement, imagine having Rangers and Celtic B, think of what that would do for the crowds ! To my mind the lower divisions need a shake up to bring some excitement into it. Look at the progress Kelty have made, you hardly see a bad match at Kelty, this is what the lower leagues need plus allowing clubs who make investment progress through the ranks
  8. Your arithmetic is as bad as your logic. Hearts, Partick, Stranraer, Kelty/Brora, when I was at school a couple was two ! The choice was simple, either ensure no club was disadvantaged by Covid or let them play it through but no, the league and the Chairmen of the clubs took a decision which demonstrated their complete lack of reasonableness and I’m delighted it looks like they will now pay a very high price. Bring it on !!!!
  9. At the heart of the matter is poor leadership from Doncaster and a complete lack of vision in a large number of clubs. These clubs have been mediocre for years just trudging out results to keep them where they have always been. On the other hand teams like Kelty, Bonnyrigg, East Kilbride etc have real vision for the future from the owners through to the managers, players, committee’s and fans. We haven’t seen the end yet, Hearts, Partick and all the other teams were denied the sporting chance they deserved and I hope the court drives a bus through the ineptitude of the league management and the Chairmen of the clubs who tried to put Hearts and Partick down, they will now be the ones who will either see sense and agree to reconstruction or face the financial ruin they deserve. Bring it on and delay the league starting if that’s what it takes. Everything is fair game now.
  10. I’m not sure if I understand your post but I can assure you that the Lowland league is not full of garbage. there are a number of very strong teams and I for one have seen many good games this season both home at Kelty and away.
  11. What I can’t get and maybe someone can explain is: if a club can’t play because crowds aren’t allowed and therefore they don’t have income, does that mean the league is suspended. Additionally does that mean that sponsored cup competitions can’t start and if so what happens to the sponsorship money. in this regard I’m interested in Ann Budges comments of philanthropists willing to help out lower league sides. Forget the fact she wants to save Hearts from relegation, does her proposals not also mean that more funds will be available for all lower league clubs. if not, how are teams below the top division going to survive and if they don’t does that not make restructuring a necessity. sorry for such a long question.
  12. This recent situation is a temporary blip, the progress made by Kelty Hearts and the excellent investments made by the management of the club will reap great rewards into the future. Deans vision and commitment is unrivalled and I’m sure he and the club will reap great rewards. Well done guys, just be patient and it will all come right.
  13. I’m a Kelty Hearts supporter who saw Tam Courts as an influential captain and a very successful manager, sorry to lose him. just want to reply to the guy who said Tams sights might be higher than Boness. Boness are a great club with a great history and the Potential in time to be up there with East Kilbride and Kelty etc. At the time he left Kelty there were 4 league teams lookikg for a manager and he didn’t get any of them. I don’t know if he applied for them but anyway my point is... he left Kelty too early and going to Boness would give him the opportunity to prove himself again and take Boness to the top of the Lowland League , they are a club who could do it
