  1. Just watched Ray McKinnon's post match interview and unless he's a very good actor, he is raging and hurt in equal measure. Nails it with the lack of keeping and using the ball and always being second is not on, and tears into the team for showing a lack of competing. Of course, ultimately he carries the can but without sounding too much like a Ray apologist I definitely think, from that interview, he's in shock. It's up to him to get the team firing and it has to be this Saturday. Nae idea what'll happen if it's another crap day.
  2. Almost certainly scam calls. They often seem to phone in batches. Absolutely seeth inducing. If it's a landline call I just lift the phone and say nothing - no voice, they hang up. For peace of mind do 1471 then put the number after googling who called.
  3. It's not going to happen given our position but on the his woeful ball distribution alone I'd be giving McCallum a rest for a while.
  4. I'd say a lot of us are very aware the squad is far too lightweight. There is talent but many are not ready for this league. Probably made financial sense to build the squad in this fashion but it's more obvious every week it's not working. Don't suppose you'd lend us super striker Matty for a few weeks?
  5. Will a win come before or after McCallum's highest and furthest kick down the park ever finds a man?
  6. She's just pissed off that Hancock got all the news coverage this week when he said he wanted to choose who'd live or die during covid.
  7. The judge will probably invite them to discuss at the side bar.
  8. Great game. Used to love playing Subbuteo under those fantastic floodlights. And if you put the stand from your Scalextric at the half way touchline you had an instant Shire's park.
  9. Yes, lorry after lorry was heading through Forfar then taking the Montrose road.
  10. The traffic all seemed to be heading through Forfar. Pretty much nose to tail through town all morning. Never seen so many lorries. Thought they were re-making Convoy.
  11. That's talented lad Bernard Cribbins wearing the glasses. Although his 'Jings, Cribbins, Help ma Goad' is a classic of the genre.
  12. Can't say I've ever heard it called Edbtwell. Maybe it was originally Welsh...
  13. Friends in Mexico messaged earlier to say Edzell made it on to the New York Times. They were over a couple of months ago and we did the Blue Door walk so sent that link. Amazing footage. On a lighter note, the work done in Forfar to stop the flooding of the town centre seems to have worked. Well, for now - wind has picked up again and rain as well.
  14. If the first named storm of the year was on the 27th/28th September, and the second named one is on the way at the end of this week, was the weather event that flooded some towns, cancelled some fitba, decimated fields of crops, and brought traffic chaos and stopped rail travel in Scotland just "bad weather"?
  15. Looks like it's going to be a subBrawl.
  16. Jeez, that Dent family have nae luck. His dad, Arthur, had his house flattened by bulldozers to make way for a bypass, iirc.
  17. Just wear a Belgium top, carry your favourite mug, and walk the corridors shouting "make it so". Nobody'll bat an eye-lid.
