  1. This part of his game is really getting beyond a joke. There was a point yesterday where Roberto Nditi had almost the whole of the right side free. McCallum launched the usual punt. Nditi was raging - the WTF look on his face when he turned to the dugout was priceless.
  2. Looking forward to the game and it looks like perfect weather conditions at the minute. Stenhousemuir should be up for this from the start so I wonder how this'll pan out for Forfar. A sustained performance like the first half v P'head would be fine, unlikely but you never know, and a front line firing on all cylinders, please. There's potential for a quick, free flowing game and I hope Forfar don't sit back and soak up what might be constant pressure from Stenny. Two solid defences so who'll bring something special to break through? I'll go for Seb or Finlay Allan. I've got the 5-10 minute slot in the sweep for Aitken falling over, and 15-20 slot for a Rusty shrug and head down.
  3. Always think this should be said with hands apart to give an idea of 'so much' - close together for just a wee bit more than a normal thank you, hands wide apart for loads more.
  4. Before Clyde fans get this relegated to the Heads Gone thread just a wee reminder Forfar scooped 3 points.
  5. Ah, the old 'let's go for three much needed points by being pressed into our own half' ploy. Straight out the Baldrick book of cunning ploys.
  6. Won't be long until the grandmother is featured in the 'taxidermy gone wrong' thread, I'd imagine.
  7. Can't believe I'm actually thinking that this game is really going to test Forfar. Clyde, bottom of the league but showing grit and determination and putting together a couple of good results against a Forfar side that continues to confound us with underwhelming performances. I'm hoping for a convincing home win but... ...is probably the way it'll end up.
  8. The Gregorian reform of the calendar went into effect in 1582 and to correct the old Julian calendar, 10 days in October (fifth to fourteenth) were abolished. Bulgaria only adopted the Gregorian calendar in 1917.
  9. Spaced out in the stand is currently my preferred method of watching Forfar this season.
  10. "Lochgelly lout injured officer with sausage and haggis breakfast pack" Courier. Square go, officer?
  11. You should have put your jacket over that chair and put an open newspaper on the table before joining the queue. Works every time. So I'm told.
  12. I've always thought the Wycliffe theme was excellent. Top man Jack Shepherd - when the producers sacked Jimmy Yuill for insurance reasons (he got meningitis during filming) and then didn't bring him back after recovering, Shepherd refused to go on with the role .
  13. Can't be easy, this learning thing. I quite like the quote from the student saying 'we've never been tested on our ability to recall information. That's something we are going to need to teach ourselves.' Or remembering stuff, as it used to be called.
  14. Luxury. I couldn't speak after licking road clean wi't tongue. But try telling etc.
