  1. They need to chill out and have some quality trampoline time (steady, Kenneth).
  2. I'll be honest here and say I was excited when McKinnon was brought in. I thought, wrongly, his experience, skill-set, and contacts would result in a strong re-build of the team. Well, clearly that hasn't worked and what's currently on show is something just short of disastrous. For me the final straw was the delusional post-match interview when he said some outrageous stuff, "there's nothing between us and the top of the league" ffs, which is nothing short of taking us all for idiots. I'm not sure what calibre of player could possibly be eyeing up Forfar as a good career move - especially if rumours about at least one player being keen to leave is true. That we're stuck with Ray McKinnon for next season is a huge worry. His standing within football circles will surely have taken a hit here. Unless turgid, boring, no invention is the norm, of course. But the likes of Stenhousemuir and their set up argues against that. What next? Clearly he's here until the end of the season. That gives the Directors some time to offer a) an apology to all the fans & sponsors for a dismal state of affairs of their making and b) a plan for the way ahead to offer survival from what might well be in the years ahead, a drop into the HL. Grim stuff all round.
  3. There'll be a few more Higgs particles flying about soon.
  4. Graveyard of a forum? This is top banter .
  5. Congratulations to everybody involved with the Club. Well deserved. I'll miss the Ochilview visits, though.
  6. Not saying I'm old but the only things I recognise on that poster are the date and the venue
  7. Carbohydrates, great bunch of lads.
  8. I think that's on the list of available extras.
  9. Named for the folk red faced with embarrassment at being stung for £150 to see a couple of the 200 or whatever rooms, more like.
  10. Got a spare £150 and fancy having a look at a dining room and a corridor? Here's the very thing at a gaff at Balmoral. You'll even get a sandwich and some tea. "Parts of Balmoral Castle used by the royal family will open to the public for the first time – for those who have deep pockets. For £100 for an adult ticket – and an extra £50 for those wishing to partake of afternoon tea – guided summer tours of the castle in Aberdeenshire are being offered, limited to 40 people a day and in groups restricted to 10 people. It is the first time since the castle’s completion in 1855 that visitors will be shown two dining rooms, the drawing room, the page’s lobby and the red corridor, where King Charles greeted Rishi Sunak.
  11. Brexit, eh? Cannae even take control of a fleg.
  12. The bunch of bawheids on the postcode lottery that magically get 'door' to rhyme with 'draw'. And the fact that it's the fuckin' door that wins the money.
  13. Even if you change the wording after an hour, the final result will probably still be a draw.
  14. In the unlikely event it hasn't been mentioned before, Liz Hurley was in an episode of Rumpole.
  15. "I'll use the bobble hat/ ski helmet line that I used in The Telegraph in 2010 for a humorous story and rehash it into an article for more of that lovely dosh for old rope. Nobody'll notice. Or care."
  16. Eggs - worktop Potatoes - one of the large Amazon paper bags is ideal. Definitely not in their plastic bag. Then keep in cupboard. Sauce - loaded with preservatives so why would you put them in a fridge.
  17. Rosey Posey is quite sweet and reminds me of East Stirlingshire being called Shirey Pirey. And Bonnyrigg might be playing them quite soon.
