  1. The long and short of it is regardless of what has happened/will happen, it looks like it will all be down to what looks like it might well be essentially a decider on the 27th. Ofcourse a draw would have done us had the Albion not been awarded 3 points, but like somebody else posted, the way I see is we are unfortunate for us not unfair if the rules I have posted are correct. And at the end of the day when Albion where awarded there 3-0 victory on the Friday night we were still 4 points clear of them. So probably more down to our own performances on the field rather than anything else. Tough to say but unfortunately it’s the truth.
  2. I’ve read all these in researching it. And the biggest thing that stands out is all these examples are of suspended players who have been booked sent off. Clyde recruited a player out with the window, could that be why there is a difference? Again just questions. And the biggest thing for me is, regardless of previous examples, it says in black and white in FIFAs disciplinary code, a team sanctioned with a forfeit is considered to have lost the match 3-0.
  3. So the SPFL don’t follow FIFA’s codes? Genuine question?
  4. If the team is sanctioned with the forfeiting of the match due to playing an ineligible player, that above is the outcome. My biggest gripe out of all this is How we have managed to find ourselves praying for this to be overturned when we should have been well out of sight of Albion regardless of what the SPFLs outcome was. But from the article above which is subtracted from the official fifa disciplinary code, it shows the team sanctioned with a forfeit for fielding an ineligible player is considered to have lost the match 3-0.
  5. I hope your right but I honestly can’t see anything happening on Friday, how could the powers at be award Albion 3 points then take them back weeks later. That would be complete and utter madness.
  6. Not sure if you are reading other posts mate or solely focusing on mine, but probably 99% of the posts on here are now saying JH needs to go. With regards to who should replace him, maybe ken who he invited into the changing room on Saturday, as JH himself thinks he can do a better job of inspiring and motivating the players than he can himself.
  7. Says the man who believes that the sacking of a manager who has 1 win in 21 games would be knee jerk.
  8. @A Believer no response to that I’m afraid mate, well done JH, we’ll all forget about the absolutely abysmal record because you were brave and stood up and answered questions. Touching on the boycott of games, that was said (probably wrongly and in the heat of the moment) as the only way to get the board to take action and was followed up with me saying but ofcourse nobody is going to do that because we are all going to give every last bit of support we have to try and get the lads over the line but you would have chose to ignore that part again. At the end of the day we can all point fingers at members of the board, me included, and the goings on that’s been happening for a while but they have given JH their backing since his arrival with the recruitment of no fewer than 11 players. Let’s not get away from the fact that this is down to him I’m afraid nobody else. We have won 1 game of football since November. The board are not responsible for picking the worse Berwick team for years and are not responsible for setting them up to get beat by six goal margins.
  9. What else can it be then? Baring in mind we are staring relegation/club existence square in the face. I dread to think where we will be in the next 3/4 years if we do get relegated.
  10. I think it’s clear that with the exception of Jonny himself @A12A1 and an other, all fans have lost all faith in him. The reality is though the board will do absolutely nothing about this, and the only way to make them take action would be to boycott the remaining games, ofcourse nobody is going to do that as we all want to give every last bit of support we have to hopefully push the lads over the line. For me it is nothing more than complete laziness from the board. As soon as that final whistle went on Saturday they should have been actively seeking to bring somebody in. It’s clear as day that the players have also lost all faith in him or either can’t stand him, which wouldn’t surprise me the way he has chopped and changed his team and almost victimised some players, the captain and goalkeeper being made the scapegoats after previous drubbings.
  11. I would be surprised if someone could go back in the records and find a previous 6-0 that was 0-0 at half time. That's how flukey it was. If we had won a lot of games of football and where at the top end of the table you could argue the fact it might have been a fluke, like when we beat Peterhead that was clearly a fluke. But based on the fact we just got tanked 7-1 couple months back and the fact Clyde hit the woodwork 7 times as well as scoring 3 times in 1 game, I’m afraid it’s anything but a fluke. And the fact it all happened in 1 half makes it even worse.
  12. Yes it does tend to cloud over things initially, but whatever we do in life we all have our 0-6 days. It is not 'all that matters'. What matters is that we pick ourselves up off the floor and get behind the team. There's only a month to go now. The first half showed what they can do. We need to cheer the team over the line. Beggars belief some of your comments, and looks very likely you are actually Harvey or somebody close to him. We all have our 6-0 days?? i keep hearing people say they have seen glimpses of how good our team can be, any1 who knows a thing about football knows all teams will have spells or glimpses in football where they look half decent. But in reality we have won ONE game of football since November, ONE game of football in 21, I’m sorry but there comes a time when it can’t be defended. The manager is so far out of his depth and unfortunately it is nothing more than laziness from the club that they will sit back and hope he can scrape a result against Albion, rather than take action. Sad set of affairs really. Just letting the club die.
  13. Probably more aimed at the fact I have been saying we need a change now for a while and every time you seem to have shot it down with claims of a knee jerk reaction, or blind sackings etc. When the actually fact that Harvey’s record is nothing short of disastrous. I just can’t understand how his sacking would be knee jerk or blind, or how on earth you don’t think a 6-0 defeat to annan (their biggest win since being introduced to the SPFL) 4 games from the end of the season isn’t critical or 1 win since mid November last year isn’t critical? I understand what your saying that we can’t sack him unless we have somebody waiting in the wings, but using engine references I would say the pistons are fucked and unless they are replaced the car isn’t going anywhere!!!
  14. Valid point, and I seen a post on Facebook last night that might have been a member of his family suggesting that we won’t find a more dedicated manager. I don’t doubt for one second JH is fully committed to the job, but unfortunately that isn’t enough and it’s a results driven business for a football manager as everyone is fully aware and JH has an abysmal record. Unfortunately the negative comments/posts come with the nature of the job, and with the real possibility that the club might lose its league status these negative comments are only going to be heightened, but to remember it is certainly nothing personal just people who want the best for their football club.
  15. i thought the QP highlights where hard to watch but deary me that was painful. Granted it’s annans highlights package so could be seen as slightly biased, but Sean makes a great save and they squander a great opportunity before it shows blues attempt, yet JH seems to think we should have been 2 up, and that second chance can’t have been that clear cut it didn’t even make the highlights. That second half showing there really was embarrassing, players looked lost at every goal. I thought it was too late to change things but after watching that action must be taken now! @A Believer don’t try and tell me a new face couldn’t sort that out, you obviously don’t know much about football if you think otherwise.
  16. 1 win since the 17th November 2018. Genuinely no idea how that can be defended? @A Believer?
  17. Why is our manager attending reserve games at this time of the season when our club is in great danger of becoming extinct? He gets 4 hours a week to work with the team, surely it’s paramount he is at training Tuesday Thursday when we have absolutely everything to play for?
  18. I’m sorry but if I was asked in there today I would have refused. A publicity stunt from Harvey here! If the players don’t know what it means and he needs to resort to bringing fans in then that to me says it all. He is struggling to motivate them!
  19. I thought he should have got the elbow a long time ago! Not just now with 4 games to go.
  20. By the way... terrific actor!! All jokes aside, for everyone involved/ connected, I really do hope Jonny and the team can salvage this, I come on and almost hope I jinx the team in a weird superstitious way at times and hope I can follow it up with some humble pie, but that’s yet to be the case. The board isn’t going to act now but if we do manage to stay up he has to go at the end of the season. Never mind our results, his interviews are becoming a laughing stock.
  21. Jonny knee exactly what situation the club was in before he took the job for 1. The current run of results/performances has absolutely nothing to do with the board, so that has to stop as an excuse. The reason it has nothing to do with the board is because Jonny has recruited 10/11 players since coming in which to me tells you the board has backed him. And regardless of most opinions that we are actually a lot worse, FACTS/STATS would actually tell you we are a lot worse since his arrival. Ofcourse it’s just purely bad luck that we have been beaten by a SIX (6) goal margin twice in the space of a couple months. For me it’s irrelevant what Albion are going to or will do in their remaining games, going down 6-0 when the club/us are relying on them going out there and at least showing a bit fight and scrap, We haven’t put a glove on your opponents in the last 2 games. We have been ahead of them all season, they have picked up 10 points from their last six games yet according to you and @A Believer they won’t pick up any more.
  22. Again probably a cheap dig at me there when I simply made a suggestion after you where very persistent on an answer to who we could bring in. Seriously have to question your opinion here... a blind sacking??? We’re fucking bottom of the table with 4 games remaining and have just been scudded 6-0! What sort of confidence is in amongst that dressing room right now? Again as I said last week people keep harping on about effort, I’m sorry but at this level of football you don’t get scudded twice in the space of 2 months by a SIX goal margin if every player is giving maximum effort, there isn’t that big a gulf in quality. But 1 thing we probably can agree on is who in there right mind would want to come in now? But on the same hand I think the chairman himself could probably set up a team better. There’s no chance Albion will pick up points against Peterhead who we beat 2-0 and edin city who after today will be on a bit of a downer considering they’ll know they’ve chucked the league and are just waiting for the play offs to start. And to say we never get anything at Annan anyway as a way of accept today’s defeat... crazy! We are in a dog fight to save the club here that’s how serious it is, so I’m afraid I expect the manager to set up a team that at least has a bit fight in them!
