Aye. To me there was nothing in the Hernandez stuff. I genuinely think the plan was to sell him to a team in England or Europe. When the pandemic hit and he was homesick, on his own then he wanted back home. We had the link up with Atlanta there which made it easier for him. I certainly don't think there was some long game where we were keeping him for a year (and not playing him) before he could go to Atlanta. Same as Glass. We weren't having him coach us so that he could eventually go over to Atlanta and take the head coach role there. Nonsense.

Myself and @Dons_1988have said several times that we're not big fans of Dave. He is trying to do the right things though. Whether that's too much, too soon, remains to be seen.

Not really. Aberdeen left the reserve league as the kick off times were too close to the first team fixtures. Campbell missed almost a year of football. He couldn't play for the reserves incase he was needed for the first team. He didn't get many minutes for the first team as we had Ferguson and Shinnie. The manager also preferred to give minutes to experienced players who we knew were bad, if required. As far as I'm aware, he was also told he wasn't allowed to go out on loan. It's harsh to say he was mismanaged but he wasn't given plenty of game time at all. Think a good example of this was a game against Livi at home that was near the start of Cosgrove's scoring run.

We don't have an American owner. The owner is someone who was on the board before moving to America years ago. Aberdeen tried to do too many things the right way, all at once. I've no real concerns about things at the moment but will review again once we're in to the window.

I think he was over coached tactically. He was all those things you mentioned, while the regulars were taking a man on and the cutting back on to their other foot to cross the ball in. He's regressed ever since that crept in to his game.

He turned us down as he sees himself taking a top club in Europe. No chance he ends up at Hibs.
