  1. Not see or take much interest in killie this season but the team doesn't look too much different from last season. On that basis it gives us a very good chance.
  2. We are as many points from the top of the table as the bottom. While I'm not a happy clapper we will be more likely to head upwards than get closer to the arse end. Our season now is striving for the play-off and SC visit to Hampden.
  3. Seems I've significantly underestimated the strength and success of our youth development at the club over the last almost 30 years. Let's hope that the next crop destined for success are not far away.
  4. He's out of contract this summer. Signs of long term planning there. Our club is pretty poor both now and historically with bringing through youngsters, unless they had a name like Christie or Polworth. Big reason some think its time for a full culture and philosophy change in the club at all levels.
  5. On that basis we will never blood youngsters whether cairns or anyone else. This league is so tight there arent many examples of games like this.
  6. George Oakley turning into a goal machine. Maybe it wasn't him at fault with us afterall
  7. We make the same subs every game and neither Oakley before he left or boyd have impact. Samuels may offer more once fully fit but he's been out months. Plenty chances to try a player that offers something else with a physical presence around the cloggers in this league.
  8. Just keeping Cairns would be a huge start. Very impressive in his cameo against Morton but no idea why he's not getting more game time. Be very short sighted if the club don't try keep the highland haaland
  9. Controversially I actually think JG has shown in spells he can be a good manager and also speaks well and seems professional. Going to Dutd was a surprise, however if he fails there (so quickly on the back of the Dons) and is punted in the summer, I wouldn't be adverse to him being approached as our next boss. He will have pretty low stock then and probably have to accept dropping down a level for a job, he also has experience of low budget and P/T football with Alloa. Given his need to rebuild a career at that point, he'd probably be within budget too.
  10. With Nigg also granted the same status which is a huge facility along with all the required onsite engineering infrastructure already being used for both O&G plus renewables then all Inverness will get is the dregs of workscopes. Even if they are significantly cheaper in costs there is the hassles of intermediate road transit from harbour to stadium, not to mention the limits on vessel size for mobilising etc. Overall the big winner in the Highlands with the freeport status is County if Uncle Roy decided to open the wallet further. Not saying there isn't opportunities especially around new technology start ups and development within the city area but unlikely we will become 'ballers' using car park storage.
  11. With that statement, I can officially say I am much more positive about things now. When this tax free green cash starts to flow, we are going to be the Highland version of PSG. I'm off to pre-empt our success by starting a thread in the Premiership forum
  12. There are (apparently) many fans who found his to be open and engaging leaving fully satisfied that their ears had such pleasures
  13. Scot Gardiner will save us, his record does nothing but inspire confidence.
  14. I'd expect this year to be equally as bad or worse, bearing in mind the income or a large part from the ticket fiasco would have been summer onwards, post may 22. Although our Scottish Cup final and 6 extra games coming from our late play-off charge will reduce the impact.
  15. Impressed by the number of high quality home grown players from the #Barclays winning FIFA awards
  16. Either that or we are all expecting too much and they are just utter jobbers and shite even at this level. Thinking its perhaps a combination of both tbh.
  17. Now the club in Scotland with the biggest budget and highest wages has essentially won this diddy Cup, we can all switch over to watch some 'sportswashing' #supersunday
  18. Reading the apathy across the board from Caley fans and the Dundee general consensus that Gardiner & Dodds are 'c***s' (not sure many Caley fans disagree right now) then the only logical result is an Inverness win leaving everyone seething as it buys enough good favour for BD to remain another few wks and Dee fans miss the opportunity to mock the 'jug lug one' being sacked (and continuation of the Caley decline).
