🐟 🐟 Arbroath v The Caley 🔴 ⚫

But we have a guy with a Nokia 3310 taking pixilated videos from the back of the main stand which get shared online several days later showing only some of the goals. For this the club and many fans consider it acceptable quality of service and interactions. Not a surprise other clubs are not just years ahead when operating in a different mindset. -

Least you're lucky that's only once every 9 games..........we get that pretty much every fucking week this season -
Some of the names folks come up with are horrifically shocking but fortunately most are financially nonviable. I agree this idea its insane that throughout football anywhere ex-players or staff need to return to their club as a manager because they 'understand the culture' it should be about new/fresh ideas and best people to move forwards (not providing the same rhetoric in a new era). While a drastic change (focusing on the coaching side and ignoring the wider boardroom concerns) would be welcomed I feel, its whether the club would ever sanction such a change to clean sweep across the decks - unfortunately we are not a EPL club with budget to do so. As long as we have the current board in place then its likely we will see appointments akin to the Dundee/Hearts/Rangers connections - Robbo/McCann/Dodds as proof. Fingers crossed we can avoid a 'Bomber' Brown / Barry Smith double act if change was to come. So not sure that any change would be considered a new perspective.

Perfect for adding a bit of unpredictability to the Dodd's ball hoof an hope football then -
I would suspect that as fans it'll be impossible to speculate accurately since we have no visibility from the club as to injury status of players therefore who will be returning and financially what (if any) budget would be available to bring in faces. As ever any movement would be termination or loans or exit by mutual agreement (contract cancelling) if funds were to be free'd up, so suspect anyone coming in will be similar to Henderson where its a youngster who a bigger club is keen to get game time therefore will be on a low level salary which will most likely either be fully or partly met still by the parent club. Ideally an experienced CB to partner Devine and a more dynamic forward option would be good additions. There's a few guys out of contract in the summer but we need to do work to persuade some to stay and get deals done (see my opinion in bold) with Deas & Devine along with the young guys topping that list as priority. Out of contract end of season - Deas, Devine, Cammy MacKay, Duffy, Allardice, Hyde, Doran, Walsh, McKay, Sutherland, Samuels, Boyd

Given the waves of excitement passing through sections of the Caley support given a first win in what seems like forever against trumped up Highland League opposition, it would be inevitable that Arbroath will see a similar outcome. However, given our manager is tactically inept and can only play Dodds ball, I fully expect a competent opposition manager to be able to stifle any real impact. -
Resorting to memes and silly childish pics when your opinions have been owned and made to look like a proper clown. How intelligent a way to react. Really have been disappointed by your recent contributions, either its just the festive drink or you've run out of steam and needing a wee break to recharge and develop some new retoric. Definitely a case of can do better or try harder.

And so they should as its all the 'randoms' like myself who pays into the club they should be concerned about any dissent that may reduce future footfall, investment and therefore budgeting.

Should be enough today for the happy clappers to want BD to get a contract extension I guess. Surprising the winning margin but doesn't change my opinion on the club hierarchy.

https://ictfc.com/nicolson-cairns-and-thompson-recalled-from-loan-spells I'm assuming given the in depth reporting and overwhelming levels of information that we don't have a media or communications manager these days or anyone who actually cares even? Pitifully poor lack of effort, lack of communication, lack of desire to integrate with the fans.......although somewhat symbolises the current status I guess.

It's tomorrow and given the activity on this thread, its questionable whether fans from either side give any fucks about this game. Which is perhaps indicative of the general malaise around our club at the moment and that Cove are just an extensively bank-rolled HL outfit.

https://ictfc.com/club-statement-panos-thomas-becomes-director-of-ictfc The language below suggests he has been providing some support presumably as a 3rd party consultant - wonder how much went through that avenue. On paper, its an impressive CV Panos Thomas has irrespective of his history, therefore wouldn't be a cheap day rate that's for sure especially to a club with our limited finances, it'll be interesting what is offered as a package and incentives to change the status quo. Panos has been a season ticket holder in the Miller Suite at Caledonian Stadium since 2012 and has been extremely helpful to the club, particularly in the last 12 months or so. ICTFC Chairman Ross Morrison said on the appointment “We feel that Panos will bring a wide range of skills to the Board as well as to the football club. Living in the Highlands as he does, he has supported the club for a decade now and he understands what we are all about and where we want to go. I am particularly pleased to see him join us formally as he is an extremely dynamic and highly respected individual. Following on from the recent appointment of Graeme Bennett, the new skill sets and fresh points of view can only make us stronger as a club and I look forward to working with Panos.”
