Really enjoyed the first two days with hopefully some cracking golf to come this weekend. Even St Andrew’s blighted by these f*ckin ars*holes with their inane screaming off the tee though, and ‘get in the hole’ shouts on the green. Everyone enjoys a good crowd atmosphere, but do we really have to put up with this shite, mainly imported from ‘over the pond’.

Still a number of positives to take out of their tournament performances however; for a side that only went full time together at the start of this year.

Credit to Linfield coming through that, honestly thought they might come unstuck over 2 legs against TNS. A different prospect all together next week I guess in FK Bodo/Glimt, comfortable winners over Celtic in both games; in last season’s ECL. First leg at Windsor next Tuesday 19th @19:30.

Decent fee for Bassey (if that’s correct), perhaps due to Ajax being a club that don’t usually agree to sell on clauses. Shame to lose a player like that from the game up here, but almost inevitable after the season he had last term. He’ll do well there, no question.
