Doesnt really strike me as over the top or unfair criticism. It’s something thats pissing me off. Sort of feels like this might be the place to air such petty grievances

I like a lot of your comments, lots of good summaries but sometimes you do tip into smartarse territory.

That clueless we are unbeaten in 26 games. Personally don’t think changing the keeper will do much either way. Both have mistakes in them. Long made a good save today before his howler and Hogarth has had his dodgy moments v Edinburgh at home and Hamilton

Interesting spin on what was actually said.

Jesus f**k are people actually  moaning after only drawing our 6th game this season? How many did Dunfermline draw last year? 12. How many did cove draw the year before? 10. We are undefeated and on course to win this league by a canter. However, why the f**k is Mcglynn changing the keeper and not playing Hendo. Silly silly stuff. Can only hope that it’s because long has some clause in his loan deal, but deary me if that is the case why the f**k would Mcglynn sign up for that.

Yes they are moaning after drawing at home to second bottom Annan through a last minute equaliser when we should’ve been cruising. Is that enough context? If not, for more context, it’s been a really great league campaign.

What was it you done well except accepting a gift from our keeper.

    You were absolutely shite.

I didn’t think they were absolutely shite.

We have better players who are fitter so they played to their limitations. They would’ve been unwise to go toe-to-toe with us so they kept things tight, rode their luck a bit and, somehow, got a draw.

I can’t remember seeing a game quite like it where a Falkirk player just strolled upfield field in the middle third with bags of time but also kind of knowing it was going to break down in the last third, especially after the first 20 minutes.

It is hardly making a meal of things winning 10 of our previous 11 games - come on

I agree - “making a meal” is over-egging it (pun intended) but just recently with today and Kelty (which was a bit ropey) and even almost Hamilton getting back into it in our game with them, we’ve not been quite at our best.

You have had too much beer in hospitality. Loads of chances in the first 20 minutes and plenty 2nd half

I thought second half was a hard watch.

At the end of the day, we should’ve won the game but there was the odd warning that we might concede  and we did.

    I hope Morrison is okay.

Hardly heads gone. That’s two bang average performances in a row. If it wasn’t for Hogarth’s big saves last week , we’d have drawn/lost that too. All it takes is for a couple of draws and Hamilton wins (like today ) and it’s opened up again. 3 away games in a row too to some difficult places.

Exactly. Two point swing to Accies today. That’s just fact.

To avoid “heads gone” territory though, it’s still looking good.

I'm not so sure, enough crosses yes but in terms of actual chances there wasn't many. Took a howler from their keeper for us to go infront and a howler from our keeper to level the game.

It was chances galore at the start of the game but then it became cross, cross, cross and eventually possession/see the game out which we failed to do today.

Heads gone I see by some. Made enough chances to win 4 games. Keeper made a great save early in the 2nd half then has punched weakly and we don’t react to the 2nd and 3rd ball.
    McCann was superb today.

Not one “heads gone” as far as I can see.

I disagree that folk are within their right to boo that and the fact there has to be some booing. I’ve booed the shit we have watched in the past but this squad has done nothing to deserve being booed. It’s all about opinions I suppose.

Would you disagree with clapping after that game? We didn’t lose after all.

  11. 8 minutes ago, Harry Kinnear said:

We created and missed lots of chances, we are still unbeaten and 14 points clear at the top with a game in hand but you crack on and boo all you like. Sometimes our supports gets the team they deserve.

There’s clearly going to be some booing. No one is going to cheer having just conceded a late equaliser against a second bottom side when we’ve been flying. Most choose probably to just leave or have a wee chunter and leave.

Lots of football to be played. We’re obviously in a very, very strong position but all it takes is Accies being within 8-9 points (14 points just now) when the Accies game comes round and there’s the odd butterfly, with 3 games to go after that.

A lot of people are almost indoctrinated from a young age into believing all that pish. Supporting either side of the OF can absolutely feel like a cult at times. I'll never forget - I was planning a trip to Dublin with my Mrs and I remembered looking at pictures of the city on Google and seeing the Irish tricolour and my immediate reaction was irritation. Imagine Irish folk flying their own flag in their own country! Just one of the many seeds that made me step back and think hold on a minute.

My Mrs never attended a single Rangers match but she's more than happy to come and watch the navy blue because, in her words - "supporting Falkirk doesn't involve hatred of anybody" (Fifers excluded of course 🤣).

I might not ever see Falkirk win a major trophy the rest of my life but that's not what's important and it's what OF fans don't understand. Celtic supporters are threatening a full on revolt and their team are TWO POINTS off top of the league ffs.

I only ever slightly favoured Celtic in the 90’s when Rangers dominated and for some reason that stuck and I also wanted them to do well in Europe. Still, it’s always brought me contentment knowing that I wasn’t ever arsed about those two and all the guff that comes with it!

At the risk of being downvoted into oblivion, I'll add a little bit to this discussion - my whole family are Rangers supporters. I at one time counted myself amongst them. Went to loads of games, bought all the shirts, sang the songs etc. Slowly over time though, I started to question what it actually meant following that team. I started properly researching about the songs, politics etc of it all and realised that I was not only against all of that nonsense, but STRONGLY against it, to the point where I could no longer go to Ibrox and tolerate hearing people singing songs about being up to their knees in F (not gonna say the actual word) blood. My mrs' family are Catholic and I can't stomach that shite. So aye, I decided I'd go all in with Falkirk and have been a season ticket holder ever since.

Last time I mention this but come on @Rennieball, are you made of stone? That’s a great story!

  14. Season 90/91 is sketchy because I was only 8 but that day in 93/94 was brilliant, like the difficult second album and pulling it off. 02/03 was tinged with the nagging doubt of probably not going up and 04/05 was very successful….in a one stand stadium. This is getting promoted to the second tier but such has been the joy of an unbeaten league run, up to now, makes it a special season.

Just need to dot the I’s and cross the T’s.

It greatly pained me last year but when the scum won the league i went on to their site and congratulated them. Same with Airdrie in the playoff to get promoted. I dont see many of their fans on here congratulating . Feck um!

I would love @virginton to surface,  just to check-in even for a cursory hello.

Shared nothing. We've put up with years and years and years of obsessed opposition diddies stinking up this thread, crawling over it and revelling in every single defeat and f**k-up, far, far in excess of any other club in Scotland. They're conspicuous by their absence this season though, eh? No doubt they'll come running back the minute we finally we lose a game of football.

Hamilton have more than shown their colours this season - plenty of mouth and talk in the early part of the season, then "Gerry" and his ludicrous mind games and even now a few of the uber-fantasists in their ever-dwindling support refusing to accept that we've absolutely steamrollered them. Small-minded, tinpot wee outfit. F**k them.

Great post. Easiest thing in the world just to not post anything on here when things are going well. Not that I would expect these diddies to say well done but such was their continuous investment in our plight, surely an acknowledgement of some sort wouldn’t go amiss. I mean, they were invested.
