Usual response to when students team do well. Heriot watt are no even a football uni, also having " big number to pick from" does not mean those players are big enough. Apart from their 1st and 20s, am sure every other team are recreational. Give them some credit, they play gid football and punch way above their weight

Edinburgh United should have won the game in the first half with all the chances created. Blackburn have been strong in the run in and maybe deserve it. I think Heriot watt will be happy to not play in the premier next season, with apparently students not coming back till September, going home in December and april, I also read somewhere on their social media, they had players missing yesterday to go to " V festival" its a tough task but they have done well to push it till the last day of the season.

Think it will be a great achievement for Heriot watt to finish 6th, never mind 5th. Friend of mine knows someone in their camp and its a struggle for player consistency. Apparently no played the same 11 all season with students going home. Having watched them against us twice this season, they are good passing team and very well coached, they lack a cutting edge up top. I think Preston will finish 5th and Broxburn will win the league.

I was my friend. Jeanfield game was a good game and I thought Blackburn matched them but they did have more. The penalty was never a pen. Heriot watt I expected Blackburn to run over the tax dodgers. If you are being honest with yourself, very lucky to leave wae a point.

Burnie man, sorry to piss on your parade here. I was at both games : Jeanfield played wae 10 men for a long time, it was a game they would have won with 11. Jeanfield had better players Heriot watt battered Blackburn on the day and were streets ahead, the penalty had no bearing, if Heriot watt took their chances, it could have been a bigger score line. The football they played on the day is one of the best I have witnessed for a long time. I still think Preston will finish 5th!
