Just think the boost this will give every other club, from the manager, board, players and support when they realise what a disaster of a club we are. For him to say he wouldn't change his system to win a game should get him sacked for sabotage. This could only happen to us. And it's not a joke, it's way worse than that.

I could not agree more, this post sums up what a lot of us feel. We are not different, special or any other namby pamby description. We are not happy to accept this ongoing pish and put it down to "it's the Thistle Way" or some other dross. Many of us are raging at what we need to defend every Monday morning as an excuse for our team and I for one willnever back up another dire performance with a laugh about us being Partick Thistle Nil.

Any F*ckwit manager who hauls you into his office to complain you don't give him enough respect. And canny figure out why he gets no respect.

After seeing what Ayr and Shankland in particular, dished out to the Arabs, can I make Ayr my big team. Since I dont have one yet and that includes english and european leagues I reckon I could get away with this one no problem.

First post on here so a quick nod to fuctifano for the name. Take it in the spirit it is meant, a huge compliment, coz I think you have the best name on the forum. To other matters. I hope Caldwell really has done his homework on our squad coz the amount of games half the team are useless in the last quarter is shocking. This goes all the way to the top, as the board and the management team must have been watching the same garbage as the rest of us, but they had the power to do something about it. It took far too long. I now agree that everyone should get behind the new manager, but if I pay my 20 quid and watch some of that shower of wage thieves strolling through another defeat, then I shall feel they deserve to be given pelters and they should accept it. Some of this talk about it upsetting them is nonsense. For 18 months we have given pish a bad name and it is time to turn that around. The first thing that has to change is the attitude and desire to win of a good few of the first team squad. Again Gary Caldwell was never my ideal choice, but he is here now, so all the best to him and I hope he can get things turned around starting with Alloa.
