  1. Fair enough, just trying to help. Next time I won't bother so will save you the childish emojis. Last time I saw you on here you were apologizing for something you got wrong, so happens to the best of us therefore I apologize on behalf of the 13 yrd olds that put this together for whatever reason. I do think "utter nonsense" is a bit strong and uneducated guesswork would be more suitable. By the way, just a word of advice in general, an arrogant know-it-all is never a good look. Ultimately, I don' t give a toss so you re best to waste your time elsewhere.
  2. Aberdeen 2023 Wages | Player & Team totals (salarysport.com) Heart Of Midlothian 2023 Wages | Player & Team totals (salarysport.com) Does this help?
  3. Complete & utter shambles tonight as just about everyone knows. I wasn't one asking got McGlynn to be sacked before but a 6-2 defeat to a close rival , not one of the Old Firm, is a sackable offence I agree. But in my opinion I think he should get the game on Saturday, no that I can see us scoring 4 or 5 without replay not with this defence, but I do think he will change the tactics and get some sort of a reaction out of the players. We ain't going to get another manager to take over now and no one knows what McGinn or a ny other current would be like as a coach. McGlynn and his assistant, who suddenly isn't getting mentioned in all this despite it being constantly referred to as M&S or the like. at least got us to 2nd. Let him see it out, you never know, football can be crazy sometimes. But the two of them need to go on Saturday and we start again, again - this is beyond embarrassing.
  4. Au contraire, I find it hilarious. I look forward to him bringing it up again in 2 months time like it's for the first time. Council stadium ownership, Stadium roof alterations, and Boardroom leaks - Tick, Tick, Tick , he's nothing if not consistent.
  5. They are paying good money I suppose but the attempt to associate our club with a carrot doesn't sit well with me. They are a sponsor, they are on the jersey, it should end with that.
  6. There's no such thing as bad publicity they say but Jesus wept that's one of the worst things I've seen in a long time.
  7. Without doubt iPlayer is hot on the VPNs these days. More times than not I get blocked out.
  8. Surely can't be tiredness when there was 5 days between matches, we are in trouble if that's the case. Not sure what "a hangover" means other than the literal definition, presume you are talking about an attitude problem which seems more likely.
  9. I remember when he was rambling on about Health & Safety at the stadium and that we should seek out the guy that works at Arco who sells the safety barrier tape and cones to work for us on a consultancy basis. I was reading it thinking this is a football forum?
  10. 12.15 please. Perfect Saturday night viewing here on the east coast of Australia!
  11. Hugely significant result in terms of finance. Better times ahead for the Bairns. Well done McGlynn and the team
  12. Monday's match now becomes even more crucial, if we are to remain in this league for yet another season which is quite likely then McGlynn will need further significant funds for next season to build on what he's got - and maybe finally go up as champions.
  13. Yeah Brooklyn Coffee have their van parked outside there. They sell all their damn fine coffee and commercial real estate in Manhattan from there. Just ask for the boy that looks like a trampy Kenny Rodgers.
  14. Yes 30degs+ every single day as it has been since Xmas. Oh you meant Scotland
  15. So with fan ownership what happens if we have a bad year in the Championship (or League One gulp!) - no player sales (very very likely) and no cup runs to prop up the shortfall. Who do the fans turn to for money to run the club - it has to be soft loans or external investment as it won't be coming from the fans.
  16. Hard earned? it's literally pennies , or dollars in my case, to join and this is the 3rd or 4th excellent pod he's done dedicated to Falkirk.
  17. Since our last actual co-managers - M&M - the insistence by some of referring to the succeeding Head Coach & Assistant in the same way. R&M M&S They aren't co-managers , McGlynn is the boss and I haven't seen this peculiarity at any other club. You wouldn't know who the assistant was at most clubs, why do some fans here give them equal status?
  18. Brentford have been forced to re-open their academy due to a rule change in the EPL where all clubs must have a ca00tegory 3 academy by the start of season 24-25.
  19. This is exactly how I see it too. Full fan ownership cannot work for us as we will always need some sort of external investment in times of crisis or just getting thru the season as has been seen. Increasing fan ownership is vital , as is keeping "sugar daddy" serial investors on board with significant shares. I take my hat off to anyone "investing" in a loss making business. Soft loans are a different kettle of fish and has to be last resort option
  20. I know you're correct. And I've been away too long (10 years) and need a reality check. But that just seems wild to me. Kelty? Remember we played Ajax once........and won.
  21. Maybe Aberdeen's men's team should try their luck there.
  22. That's huge for club at our level. Few leaving then?
  23. I'm sorry but that result is all on the spineless Aberdeen players on the pitch, it should not matter who the manager is, they should have more than enough to win that tie. Well done Darvel though.
