Getting out in the hills this weekend was a big boost for me, even though it was the local hills that I've been up and down many a time, I have really missed it. Tent due back from Scottish Mountain Gear this week after a little repair. Overnighter on the 15th for sure!

Not that bothered if Robbie goes, as long as we get a solid replacement. Total shithousery by Hearts, although that comes as no surprise.

Would be a brilliant addition. Spending a decent wedge doesn't sit easy with me given our wages/turnover figures of late and the current situation. Hopefully Ogren's business acumen and the inevitable sale of Shanks work out (hopefully end of season rather than Jan).

I wouldn't rule out wee dogs because they are all yappy. They are only yappy if you don't properly train them. I've got two wee Cairn Terriers and they are great wee dogs. Full of personality and great with the kids. Also, will walk all day long, so great company for me hillwalking. I'd also second the whippet/greyhound/lurcher suggestions. I had a few when I was younger. Happy to walk and run, even happier when sleeping!

On another UK wide forum I'm on, the question was asked; why do people vote Tory? This answer is quite telling. Not one positive reason given. My "must be staunch as ...." response didn't get a reply from the poster. Democracy is democracy and everyone makes a choice, but this riles me (I support SNP but don't think they are a panacea).

I emailed my Tory boy MP (no response), but I'm glad to hear he has had over one thousand. He got in on less a thousand votes. I'm hoping folk remember this.

I liked Brewdog when they first started, but their standards have slipped big time with the increase in production. Also, they market themselves as this bold new thing. But, if you have an interest in beer, you'll realise they have just ripped off other breweries that went before them, Flying Dog etc.

That would have resulted in me not having a job. I have had many a beard since.
