  1. Really don’t think we should be signing anyone with a man bun anyway
  2. Top seed always at home to the 2nd seed so we will be away to st mirren unfortunately. Hopefully get Montrose away.
  3. I’d be very keen to get dowds back. Has only started 6 games for thistle this season and still has more goals than anyone else in our team. Even if partick were to stay in the championship I think that’s something we have to look at, he’s not going to start over Brian graham so he’ll continue to not get much of a game and he’d start every week here.
  4. Really struggle to believe this considering at every Q&A with pink the same question is asked regarding Hester and each and every time pink says he is not good enough for us (which he absolutely isn’t). Dick also laughed at the person who asked this very question at the hospitality on Friday night. Also Hester would absolutely not have done a better job than wighton this season, wighton is a fair few levels above Hester and was one of Dunfermline’s best players this season. He wasn’t the best in his last spell with us but is still a class player.
  5. We were absolutely woeful today all over the park (with the exception of Gaston) and were very lucky to come away with a draw, couldn’t have complained if morton put 4 or 5 past us. Been impressed by balde since he came in but the amount of times he gave the ball away today was ridiculous, I’d be tempted to put gold back in there. I hope we don’t have to see either olusanya or the other one play much more because that is a hard watch, they both can’t even control the ball never mind hold it up.
  6. Higher than 8th? You’re living on a different planet mate
  7. In my opinion hetherington was MOTM yesterday in his actual position, which makes it all the more baffling as to why dick has decided to play him left midfield the last few games
  8. I was referring to that the fact he said we would finish at least 8th which is not in our own hands
  9. It's absolutely not in our own hands at all, if cove win their game in hand they go 7 points ahead of us and we only have them left to play twice. I have no idea what you have been watching all season but it must be with severely maroon tinted glasses on as we have been awful all season and the only team i have seen this season that have been worse than us have been Hamilton and they seem to be coming into a bit of form and have pulled a string of results together, something we haven't been able to do all season. I think realistically the best we can finish is 9th with it looking increasingly likely that it could be 10th. Yes we could potentially finish 8th but we would need a severe upturn in form and need cove to go on a loosing run. The last 2 home games of the season against cove and hamilton could be massive and ultimately determine our season.
  10. As has already been mentioned, it’s the summer transfer window that will ultimately be the reason we are relegated. The new signings on the whole look a lot better than what we had with the exception of maybe the Nigerian striker and olusanya based on first viewing but I’ve not seen enough them to make an opinion as of yet. It will take time for the team to gel with the amount of new signings and I fear we will run out of time and with dick being dick will change the team too much every week which will make the team less cohesive. Yesterday I thought we started off reasonably well but took our foot off the gas after we went 1 up. I think everybody could see that we needed a 2/3 goal lead to have a realistic chance of winning the game and raith were far more clinical than us and deserved to win. The players have changed but unfortunately dicks team selections and tactics have not, continuously playing players out of position. We’ve got bobby and el-mhannie on the bench and he’s playing balde (a centre midfielder) out wide and then brings on hetherington (another centre midfielder) and plays him out wide. I think he’s brought hetherington on as a more defensively minded player to try and see out the game but you can’t try and hold onto a 1-0 lead with how bad we’ve been defensively this season, we tried to do that against cove earlier in the season and ended up drawing that game and we’ve done it again yesterday and ended up getting beat. Another weird one was bringing adarkwa off when we’re 2-1 down and he’s the only player that can actually get us up the park. In my opinion dick should’ve been sacked before Christmas to allow the new manager to have the January transfer window but it’s now too late to sack him so we just have to hope he can get us out of this relegation battle and keep us up but I’m not feeling too optimistic.
  11. Desperately need another striker in ASAP. I really like Adarkwa and thought he was excellent first half but it was so obvious he was absolutely knackered in the second half and needed taking off but we have nobody on the bench who we can bring on to play that role. A bit daft letting Shanks go out on loan before we had a replacement in for him
  12. Corfe and isiaka both away and tait will be away back to hibs after his injury. There’s another one away too but no sure who that is.
  13. Absolutely standard from Dick. Signing a central midfielder who is most certainly going to be played out wide and out of position.
  14. Maybe he’s just not very good and can’t be trusted to start, much like Ford and Bakare last season
  15. “The club remain focused on continuing our player signing identification ahead of the next transfer window”. This reads to me as the club are going to continue looking down south for players which is really worrying. Are they just going to keep doing this until they find one that’s actually half decent. It’s clear for everyone to see including the management team, that Ford/Bakare/Fosu/Karim/Corfe are just nowhere near the level, with the exception of Oakley who looks like he could be a player but he has played at a decent level unlike the rest of the journey men they have decided to sign. To continue doing this in January would be criminal and will ultimately see us relegated unless we somehow get very lucky with one of them but the odds are very much against that going on the current signings. It’s so ridiculously obvious that this is just not working and if the management team and the club do not see this then we will be very lucky to avoid the drop.
  16. You’re not trying to tell me you wouldn’t have TOB or Scott Allan
  17. Low and Allan as a midfield 2 is a no, Scott Allan is not someone who is going to get around the pitch quickly and breaking up the play. We need to get him on the ball as much as possible and imo he should play in the number 10 role. I also don’t want to ever see Craigen play left midfield again, it’s a very painful watch. He has absolutely no capability of beating a man and he should be playing in the middle of the park (when he does play) breaking up the play and keeping things simple, that’s what he’s good at. As soon as he starts to complicate his game and thinks he’s better than he is, his game goes downhill drastically.
  18. No matter who you play in there, we’ll have no creativity unless low is fit. Henderson is the most comfortable of them on the ball and has the composure to actually make a pass. You’re not telling me Craigen provides us with any sort of creativity at all.
  19. Presuming Low and Thomson are both out, my team would be Gaston Stewart/Gold Little TOB Hammy Stewart/Gold Hamilton Henderson Linn Mckenna Hamilton Don’t really mind which one of gold or Stewart plays right back or right midfield, they can both put a shift in. This absolutely won’t be the team tho, Dick will find some way to start Donnelly and will also drop Linn, more than likely for Craigen which is baffling considering his recent performances.
  20. Aye low is not very mobile, would’ve been tempted to put mckenna or craigen in there instead but at the same time would’ve been harsh to drop low
