Absolutely agree, so how do we know who and what the club are looking for, how are other people in our fan base finding out details of who and what we are looking for? How do you know the details of Byrnes deal? At no point has it ever been out in the papers or anywhere that Byrne was transfer listed but yet some of our fans claim that to be the case? I don’t understand how you can’t see my point and what I’m getting at? We have such small numbers, how does this info become available to us??

Ok fair enough. As fans for us it is great to be informed of that information, I’m not sure it’s very professional though from our club. I seen someone saying Byrne was told to sign a new contract or f**k off? How would we know this? Contract talks between the club and Byrne? I don’t imagine Byrne or his agent to be going around saying things like that to people, so info like that + plus transfer targets and rumours being leaked is just not very professional IMO.

Let’s be honest we are never going to replace what we’ve lost. Gallagher Halkett & Kelly are irreplaceable in the near future for us. However, what we bring in doesn’t have to be as good as any of them, they only have to be good enough to make sure we get that 10th spot. I’m optimistic and I trust the people within the club to get it right. What I don’t understand though is how some (see above) seem to find out things like this? Our club has very limited staff and resources, I don’t imagine the club to be releasing this information so where are we hearing this from? A good solid source or I’m struggling to believe most of it. Does no one else wonder the same when we see others say they’re hearing this and hearing that from inside the club?

Horrible game, absolutely gutted not to see Halkett get any minutes today, does anyone know the reason why? He must have been injured surely. We didn’t deserve anything from the game today and conceded a really sh**y goal, it looked like Gallagher had Miller and lost him and started shouting at Lithgow? I have noticed Gallagher shouting at others after he makes a mistake certainly not a nice thing to view. A great season finished off with a poor result at home.

Really enjoyed being a part of our support yesterday, for once I think a whole game passed without hearing any negative shouts even though we were behind. I thought we were the far better side for large parts of the game, from when St J scored until the end of the game. What an outstanding strike from Super Halket, he was definitely our Motm, his goal was a great strike but the St J keeper is seriously at fault. I thought Dolly had a super game and was great to see Miller back. Lamie at cb and Gallacher at lb was a strange tactic but I think it went ok. Stewart was unlucky with the goal, the deflection seemed to deceive him but he had a good save at the start of the second half to keep us in the match. It will be interesting to see if Kelly has played his last game for us, will be so disappointing if so but can’t begrudge him of moving on to bigger things like Halket and Gallacher. Delighted Dundee are relegated, I hope we can rub salt in the wounds with another 4-0 thrashing at the spaghettihad.

A real shame this, in hindsight it would probably have been better to take the money for him when Gers came calling, but hindsight is a wonderful thing. Great news about Robinson if that’s the case with him, would this be something the club would announce? Would like to see Lithgow rewarded with a new contract, his consistency for the past 3 season has been brilliant. I don’t expect there to be any issues with Kelly, I agree an extension would be great business. When are we expecting Gallaghers situation to be announced with regards to him staying or leaving? Still holding on to him staying.

Would be amazing to see Falkirk go down due to their fans thinking because there is a lot of them that should make their team brilliant!!! Jack coming on and scoring the winner for Alloa really shows how much potential is there considering he is only 18, will be interesting to see how his progress goes. What’s happening with Matthew Knox has he been recalled from Berwick as I haven’t noticed him in their squads? Next year going to be very interesting with Gallagher Halkett and Hardie leaving, does anyone know what is happening with Robinson? Delighted Kelly is still contracted for next season or he’d almost definitely be away aswell, there was talk of Rangers having a buy back clause on him and someone wrote previously wrote about a very small release figure ? I’d find this hard to believe. The club have got us here so I’ve got every faith in them to keep us in the premier league next season.

Disappointing to lose Halkett but being realistic it was inevitable, Gallagher wasn’t as expected as much but if it’s a move that benefits him then why shouldn’t us as fans be delighted for these players when they’ve gave us so much to cheer about for the past 2 years? If we are a selling club that’s great but we aren’t selling these players they are going on a free, does that concern others? That’s 2 of our key players leaving on a free and that’s slightly concerning for me, how do we stop that happening with others? Who could we sell for any sort of money though? Byrne, Pittman are the only 2 outfielders that spring to mind albeit Byrne is 25 and Pittman 26? Kelly getting a lot of people wanting him to be in the Scotland squad so shouldn’t we be looking to tie him down to save the same thing happening with him whenever his contract is up as I would imagine other teams will be keeping a very close eye on him. I’ve got no doubts we will surprise everyone again next season, Halkett and Gallagher leaving we will again be auto favourites to go down but I think we could have a very similar season next as to the one we are having now.

Even with Gallaghers baggage I wouldn’t be surprised if bigger clubs have a look, he has been outstanding. I want to agree about the up and coming window and I hope you are right, Halkett has been exceptional all season but Kelly has arguably been better and I will be astonished if clubs aren’t seriously sniffing about him as he is only 22.

If we lose Halkett then we thank him for his outstanding services to the club and wish him all the best. Realistically if the team keep performing the way they all have been then who will be able to keep?? Lithgow proving Miller was daft not to have him playing. Gallagher delivering consistency like he has done for the last 18 months. Jacobs Byrne and Pittman I wouldn’t swap for any midfield three in the SPFL. Also do we have the standout goalkeeper in the league currently aswell, I was very sceptical about Kelly before he came back but how has he proved everyone wrong! If Alexander was performing like this we would be screaming for him to get in the Scotland squad. We look a threat up front and solid in wide areas. This weekend will be the toughest of tests, the last team to beat us was Motherwell and but for Kelly’s heroics it could’ve been 4 or 5....I’m going for a 1-0 to the Lions but would happily settle for a point just now.

Really disappointing result yesterday, I did not feel the performance was good enough to go through to a quarter final stage of a cup. I thought Halkett Gallagher and Byrne were very good for us and Lawless done ok at times. We are crying out for some pace up front as that is seriously lacking. Saunders needs to be put on the bench as I don’t think his fitness levels are good. I had serious doubts about our keeper Kelly before he came back but he has been amazing since his return, not put a foot wrong and some of his saves today were phenomenal, here’s hoping he can keep this up. I’m really looking forward the game next week, we need to win I think.

Really looking forward to Saturday to see how the team does against another established premier league side. I expect it to be very similar to previous games this season. Defence and goalkeeper solid, midfield doing really well and forward players not really creating much. We are missing Hardie and De Vita, the sooner they are back the better. I’ll go for 1-0 the Lions.
