Heard that there is apparently an MSG meeting tomorrow to make a decision on the bids left on the table - anyone who is better clued up than me able to confirm / deny?

More impressed with Sammon post interview - reeking echo aside - sounds like he’s a far better put together bloke than I ever have him credit for. Some cracking experience to have around a team in League 1 and all - hoping for a few more signings for the squad and let’s get after it against Peterhead

If the latest statement is to be believed then Lex Miller taking a greater role in the club must be one of our horsemen of the apocalypse - nae chance having him more involved is making anything better pretty much every issue the club has had encapsulated in one individual

Despite myself the Tidser signing has given me a flicker of a pre season buzz - desperately hoping to just see us win some games of football

Is it too optimistic to be looking forward to actually winning some games? obviously gutted but were not the only ones to go down this route - need to make sure we bounce back and preferably do so with a new MSG. understand all the anger yesterday but come week 1 of the season it’s about supporting the Bairns again

Afraid to say I can’t imagine that’s entirely the case - they’ve done a great job but it takes a hell of a long time to actually get the legals / financials into place. Having a full share dilution signed off in 3/4 months as suggested would be beyond most companies. If we get it by the start of next season then that is quick. still do think that more anger should be directed at the MSG, the BoD can’t do anything without their sign off. Think we should be looking hard at their part to play

Probably actually have to look past the BoD and straight at the MSG - they are the ones who could actually make this happen.

Big fan of Waddington / DKDs interviews the club put out - waddington definitely got what it takes to be a fan favourite. Hope we manage to keep him come summer

I wasn’t a fan of getting The Edge but on first glance he at least seems to be playing for Ray. if Ross County or Dundee skepled 3 past QoftS folk would be jumping off the rafters. f**k the Alloa and Partick - we may well have a team worth a result. Here’s hoping.

I wouldn't say we're light on wide players. You've got Petra, MacLean, DKD and Robson who should all be able to do a job wide for us. You've also got Waddington and O'Hara who you can shoehorn out there if needed Fair point - I would have thought that only 3 of those are naturally wingers though. Robson is a left back, O'Hara a striker and Waddington a midfielder. We've spent the last year playing players out of position, would like to see Ray playing players in their natural positions.

Things we'll no be doing 1) paying you lot anything at all 2) regarding £40k as anywhere near substantial for a financial behemoth such as Falkirk Football Club Things we will continue to do 1) run roughshod over your diddy club 2) take your staff as and when we please 3) push Crawford Rae's blood pressure further into the red zone 4) rinse and repeat from Step 1.

We're definitely in a far better position than we were a month ago, that's not really a debate. Wee bit concerned that we're light on wide players but midfield and defence is looking much improved with more options up top - if it was the start of the season you'd think no chance we'd be in this bother with the squad we have now. I'm concerned that we desperately need to start getting results, we've got so many loan and 6 month contracts in just now that if we end up cut adrift they might just down tools, see out the season and disappear off without a care in the world. Best case scenario we get a bit of a St Mirren-esque run on which not only drags us up and away from the drop but makes us more attractive to players coming in during the summer and more attractive to the better players we have on 6m contracts (i.e. McKenna).

We’ll probably just continue to dictate our terms to them - and they’ll sit there and take it like the good wee lassies they are
