All week at work it’s been; ”Cricket score”, ”5-0”, ”4-0” or simply, “Pumped”. My stock response has been, “2-1 Ayr!” The few Celtic fans have been following Ayr on social media and have been saying, “Scott Brown will beat them!” I’ve got Sean McGinty anytime and Ayr win at 300/1. It really is a horrible place to go, but would not miss it. IF we got a result and I wasn’t there I’d never forgive myself.

I’ve been thinking about this a lot. Basically our whole group have separately bought tickets. I’m hoping it’s all good and the likes of her don’t turn up!

I would be absolutely delighted if we got him. Just a rumour I heard earlier today but from a decent source.

Unfortunately I think I can see why Chalmers hasn’t cut it at Dundee United. Far too hot and cold. I actually wouldn’t be overly gutted if we didn’t sign him in the summer. I would be gutted though if he went to a rival, where knowing our luck he’d score a few against us. Maybe Brown and Whittaker can get a better tune out of him.

We looked like a much better team today. We looked much more solid as a defence and midfield I’d say. I won’t lie, I’ve not celebrated so much in a long time when our winner went in! McGeady should have made it 3-1. McKenzie was brilliant today, and Bryden weirdly played great on the left when Murphy went off. All aboard the Broony bus!

As I said the other day, I hope Brown has some sway like McCall did to get idiots like that out the club. Egotistical maniac who didn’t attend for years.

That’s my main reason too, but probably also to do with the success we had with the new badge after over a decade of shite. I started going home and away in 2005, but been going since about 1999/2000. I associate the old badge with what felt like an eternity in the Second Division, and players like Paul Weaver, Eddie Forrest, and David Dunn. New badge, I associate with Lawrence Shankland and winning the league.

The club should be speaking to Richard Merry and asking him not to embarrass the club. Especially as he is the stadium announcer. If he was just a random punter then fair enough, crack on with the cringe fest videos, but as a “representative” of the club it really is embarrassing. Scott Brown has obviously had his fair share of random/weird videos posted about him during his Celtic days, but in the small Ayr United world, it just screams tinpottery! Also to a post earlier about the badge, I really do prefer the new badge, which I know isn’t a popular opinion.

It sounds like we’re giving Brown free rein to an extent over who he wants to bring in and not relying on Glendinning. Thank the lord for that!

If you’re getting the train up and looking for a pub, lots of Ayr fans heading to the Rose Reilly before the game. 2 minute walk from Queen’s Park station.

She asked good questions, just needs to work on how she puts them across. I’m sure it was McCall who eventually managed to get Somerset Boab out the door, albeit he wasn’t the stadium announcer, he was supposedly wanting access all areas. So there’s hope Brown can help us to look more professional!

The club need a professional to run the media side. I’ve said it for years, but it really does make us look like amateurs.

If this is a done deal, and the ink is drying, I do not understand why the club wouldn’t announce it. Quick picture with a scarf above the head and a short statement.
